Suggested Shutter Installation Instructions

1. Parts included with your order:

• 2 shutters

• 10 fasteners (5 for each shutter)

• 10 wall anchors (5 for each shutter)

2. Gather required tools:

• Pencil or pen

• Tape measure

• Hammer

• Drill

• Phillips bit

• 1/16” bit and 1/4" bit

3. Read all instructions before proceeding. Then determine location of shutters on wall, spacing as desired.

4. Hold one shutter at a time in the desired location, and use 1/16” bit to pre-drill 5 holes through each

shutter AND into the wall. Optimal hole locations may vary depending on your specific project.

5. Set shutters aside for a moment, and use 1/4” bit to drill into holes in the wall from the previous step.

This will widen the holes in the wall sufficiently to accept wall anchors.

6. Use a hammer to lightly tap all 10 wall anchors into holes until flush with the surface of the wall.

Final step:

Hold shutters so holes

align with wall anchors,

and use Phillips bit to

install fasteners into

wall anchors.

Countersinking is

recommended if you

prefer fasteners to be

flush with exterior

surface of shutters.
