Installation

Instructions

These kits have been tested for use with specic Hearth & Home Technologies products. Check with your local build-

ing code agency before you begin installation to ensure compliance with local codes, including the need for permits and

follow-up inspections. If you encounter any problems regarding code approvals, or if you need clarication of any of the

CAUTION! Risk of Cuts, Abrasions or Flying

Debris. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses

during installation. Sheet metal edges are sharp.

A. Inner Overlay Kit Includes

• Left Overlay

• Right Overlay

• Rear Overlay

• Hardware Pack with drill bit

B. Installation Instructions

1. Peel protective coating o of overlays and place rear

overlay into back of rebox. No fasteners needed.

The side overlay will hold rear panel in place. See

Figure 1.

3. Right side panel will need to be put in place, then a

hole will need to be drilled (with drill bit provided) into

the rebox top through the overlay panel.

2. Place the right side overlay into the right side of the

rebox. Align hole in top of rebox with tab on the top

of the overlay. See Figure 2 and 3.

C. Outer Overlay Kit Includes

• Outer Overlay Piece

• Extended Hood

D. Installation Instructions

Note: If face is already covered by a facing material the

overlay will need to be trimmed to t.

1. The overlay is the same outside dimension of the La-

nai front. See Figure 5. Install overlay with a high

temperature adhesive with a rating of 600° F or more

on the inside of all surfaces. See Figure 6.

2. Remove existing hood and install extended hood.

3. Line up overlay with the outside dimensions of face.

4. The inside dimension opening of overlay should line

up with inside of appliance and hang on extended

hood.

5. After securing overlay to front and allowing to prop-

erly dry and cure to adhesive manufacturer’s specs,

peel o protective coating. Clean with a quality stain-

less steel cleaner.

4. Attach with 2 screws provided. This will hold rear

panel in place. See Figure 3 and 4.

5. Repeat Step 2 and 3 with left overlay. See Figure
