Neverlookdirectlyatthesunwiththetelescopeoritsfinderorguidescope.Permanent
andirreversibleeyedamagemayresult.
CAUTION
Donotleavetheopticaltubeuncappedinthedaytime.Sunlightpassingthroughthe
telescopeorfinderscopemaycauseafire.
Donotusetheproductwhilemovingorwalking,injuriescouldresultfromacollisionwith
objectsorfromstumblingorfalling.
Keepsmallcaps,plasticbags,orplasticpackingmaterialsawayfromchildren.Thesemay
causeadangerofswallowingorsuffocation.
Donotusetheproductinawetenvironmentanddonothandlewithwethands.
HANDLING AND STORAGE

Donotleavetheproductinsideacarinbrightsunshineorinotherhotplaces.Keepany
strongheatsourcesawayfromtheproduct.
Whencleaning,donotusesolventssuchaspaintthinnerorsimilarproducts.
Donotexposetheproducttorain,water,dirtorsand.
Avoidtouchinganylensormirrorsurfacesdirectlywithyourhands.Incasealensor
mirrorbecomesdirtywithfingerprints orgeneralsmears,gentlywipeitusinga
commerciallyavailablelenscleanerandalenscleaningpaperorcloth,orconsultyour
localVixendealer.
Blowoffdustonlensesusingacommerciallyavailable blowerbrush.Donotuse
compressedair.
Forstorage,keeptheproductinadrypl aceanddonotexposetodirectsunlight.

block.Slidethedovetail
mountedscopeintothedovetail
mountingblockofthemount
andtightenthedovetaillock
screw(centeredonthenotch)
ontothedovetailtubeplateuntil
snug.
(2)Firsttightenthedovetaillockscrew,andthentightenthesmallchromesafetyscrewontothedovetail
mountingblockuntilsnug.

*ChangethepositionofthedovetailtubeplateontheVMC110LopticaltubewiththesuppliedAllen
wrench.IfyouattachitontoaVixenmountotherthantheSKYPODandPORTA,
removethedovetailtubeplatefromthesideoftheVMC110Lopticaltube.
*Attachthedovetailtubeplatetothebottomofthe
VMC110Lopticaltubeasshowninthefigure.
*Loosenboththedovetailplatelockscrewandsafetyscrew
untilthetipsofthesescrewsnolongerextendintotheinner
partofthedovetailblock.Slidethedovetailmountedscope
intothedovetailmount
ingblockofthemountandtighten
thedovetaillockscrew(centeredonthenotch)ontothe
dovetailtubeplateuntilsnug.
*Firsttightenthedovetaillockscrew,andthentightenthe
smallchromesafetyscrewontothedovetailmountingblock
untilsnug.
ATTACHING THE FINDER SCOPE
Loosen
the
chrome
finder
bracket
lockscrew
onthe
telescope.
Attachthefinder
scopeasshowninthe
figure.Tightenthe
finderbracketlock
screwsecurely.


dimandtherangeofsharpfocuswillbesmall.
Theimagewillbehardertoseesobeginwithan

Dividingthefocallengthofthetelescopebythe
focallengthoftheeyepiecegivesthe
magnification.
