Caring For Your Flag Kit

As the owner of your American made U.S. ag, it is important that you treat it with

care. In the event of extreme weather conditions with winds exceeding 45 MPH,

remove the ag and pole from the mount. Failure to protect your ag set during such

weather may result in damage to your ag bracket or pole.

Flag Kit Components

To Mount Flag on Pole:

• Repeat the previous step and slide the 2nd clear plastic

mounting ring up to the bottom of the ag so that it meets

with the lower left grommet of the ag. Insert the tensioning

screw through the grommet while slightly stretching the ag.

Note: Unscrewing the knurled tensioning screw may be

necessary for the rings to pass freely over the pole.

To Assemble Top and Bottom of Pole:

• Unscrew the knurled tensioning screw completely from the

ring. Slide the ring up the pole until it reaches the upper most

part of the pole. Remove the tensioning screw and pass it

through the upper most ag grommet. Re-insert the

tensioning screw into the tensioning ring. Tension should be

no more than rmly nger-tight. The metal hook at the top of

the pole will not be used for this application. See Figures 1-2 and

1-3.

• Line up the threaded mounting section of the poles and

screw together until hand-tight. See gure 1-1.

• Mount bracket to building with wood screws supplied. Screws may be utilized by directly attaching to

building exterior, or plastic inserts may be required when mounting to masonry applications. In the event

of a masonry installation, a mortar bit must be sourced prior to the holes being drilled. Mark holes prior to

drilling, drill with masonry bit, insert plastic inserts, and secure the bracket with the supplied screws.

• Adjust bracket to desired angle and hand-tighten wing nut rmly to secure. Overtightening may damage

the bracket.

• Insert pole into bracket and hand-tighten the set screw to secure the pole.
