Thetechnicianshouldwait1/2hourbetweenaddingXBMsalescodeinDealerConnectbeforeinstallingtheWIN
module&restoringvehicleconfiguration.Intheinterim,thetechniciancaninstallallothercomponentsexcept
theWINmodule.

1.VINmustbeupdatedwiththesalescodeoftheaddedaccessoryinordertoenablesystemfunctionality.Usingthe
DealerCONNECTwebsiteandthewiTECHdiagnosticapplication,completethevehicleconfiguration.
2.Logontohttps://dealerconnect.chrysler.com.
3.Inthe"VehicleOption"screenunderthe"GlobalClaimsSystem"categoryinthe"Service"tab,enterthevehicle
VIN,fourdigitpinnumberobtainedfromthedealershippartsdepartmentandaddsalescode(s)notedbelowasa
"DealerInstalledOption".

5.Connectthehoodswitch(2)tothehoodswitchhar
ness(1).
6.Onceconnected,insertthehoodswitch(2)intothe
opening,turnthehoodswitch(2)untilproperlyseated.
7.Routethehoodswitchharness(2)intotheengine
compartment.
8.Locatethefactorygroundlug(1)onthepassenger
wheelwell/shocktower.Removethenut.
9.Installthehoodswitchgroundterminalontothefac
torygroundlugandreinstallthenut.
10.Securethehoodswitchharness(2)tothevehiclehar
nessusingthetiestrapssuppliedinthekit.
