Grease filters
The cooker hood is equipped with two aluminium filters. The filter is removed by moving the locks in the
direction indicated by the arrow (Fig. S1). The filter should be cleaned manually in the following manner:
immerse it for 15 minutes in water mixed with mild detergent at the temperature of 40-50°C. After 15
minutes, start washing the filter and rinse it carefully. The filter must be completely dry before it is put back
in the hood. If the filter is not cleaned regularly, the performance of the hood decreases and the fire risk
increases. If washed in a dishwasher, the filter may become discoloured, but this does not affect its
filtering properties.
The carbon filter (only for closed loop - fig. S4)
The hood should be equipped with 2 carbon filters. Filters should be placed on the turbine housing, as
illustrated in Figure S5. In this case, the purified air is discharged back into the room. The Santina cooker
hood should not be connected to the ventilation ducts. In order to ensure proper operation of the hood and
effectively reduce odours should replace carbon filters regularly (every 3 to 6 months) depending on the
intensity of use of the hood.
