Operational Test

Illumination of the buzzer LED indicates that the system is activated.

Beep at 1 second interval indicates that the side of the vehicle is 1.5m away from the nearest

obstacle, at 1m the beeping will increase to ¼ second intervals and a constant sound

indicates that the vehicle is at distance of 0.45m.

Self Diagnostic

System emits 1 ‘beep’ per failed sensor at power up.

Important Notes

• The ultrasonic sensor is a driver’s aid when manoeuvring the vehicle. Not all objects will be

detected by the sensor, therefore caution and common sense must be exercised.

• Always check your mirrors or stop the vehicle when a sound is heard from the buzzer. This

indicates that an object is within 1.5m of the side of the vehicle. Use your mirrors to conﬁrm

this and take evasive action as required.

• Always keep your sensors clean.

• If the sensors are wet, the sensitivity can be decreased by up to 20%.

• All electrical connections must be insulated and any external connection to be water tight.

• Modules should be securely mounted to the vehicle away from excessive sources of heat

and water.

• Do not kink, over stretch or run cables over sharp surfaces.

• Any additional wires should be securely ﬁxed.

• Follow wiring diagrams shown for connection to vehicles systems.

• The system contains no user serviceable parts. Unauthorised repairs will void warranty

• Do not paint sensor surface.

• Always consult your dealer or the OEM guide lines when ﬁtting any electrical or electronic

equipment to a vehicle.

• Do not connect to Can-Bus or Multiplex circuits.

Fitting Notes

Depending on installation height of sensor, angled wedges may need to be inserted to

reach optimum working detection area.
