Deleting backed-up files
You cannot delete files or folders directly from the F-Secure Online Backup web interface.
The F-Secure Online Backup web interface shows the files that you have backed up from your computer.
You can delete files through the program on your computer.
After you have deleted a file or folder from your computer or excluded it from the backup, it is deleted from
the backup and the web interface immediately or within the set period (15, 30, or 45 days).
Sharing files
You can share your backed up files through the F-Secure Online Backup web interface.
To share files:
1. Select a file or folder that you want to share.
2. Click Share.
The Files selected for sharing dialog box opens. The New link to shared files field contains an
automatically generated link to the shared file.
3. You can do the following:
• To copy the file-sharing link to the clipboard, click Copy. You can paste the link, for example, to an
e-mail, a blog, or an instant message.
• To add the selected files to a link that you have created previously, click add the files to a previously
created link.
• To save the selected files without sharing them yet, click Save.
• Change the link title in the Link title field.
4. To send the file-sharing link to one or more recipients:
a) Click Send by e-mail.
b) Select the recipients from the list of saved contacts, or enter the e-mail address in the To field.
Note: If you want to save the e-mail address from the To field to your contacts, click Add the
e-mail address to the Contacts list.
c) In theMessage field, you can add a message that will be shown to the recipients of the file-sharing
link.
d) Click Send.
The file-sharing link is sent and the dialog box closes.
5. To view the files that you have shared, click the Shared files tab.
6. To resend or delete a file sharing link, do the following:
