Battery replacement
The pendulum clock has two battery compartments.
The battery in the right compartment is responsible
for displaying the time, the one in the left
compartment for the movement of the pendulum. So
if the time display is not showing, replace the right
compartment battery or if the pendulum has stopped
moving, replace the left.
And this is how to do it:
Ø
Unscrew the screws fixing the battery
compartment cover using a small screw driver for
recessed-head screws.
Ø
Remove the battery compartment cover and take
out the battery.
Ø Insert a unused battery (1.5 V, size AAA, not
enclosed) according to the layout plan shown in
the battery compartment. When doing so, you
have to comply exactly with the correct polarity,
otherwise the clock will not function and may get
damaged.
Ø
To ensure a longer and more useful economic life,
you should use Alkaline batteries.
Ø
Close the battery compartment.
Ø
Batteries must not be disposed of in domestic
waste. Please hand in used batteries at the
proper collection point or at the place where
you have bought the new ones. Never throw
batteries into fire.
