1. Press and hold the S5 button for about 6 seconds. When the LED indicator begins to flash quickly between
Blue and Red light and/or when the headset emits a double “beep” sound, means that the unit is now ready to
pair.
2. Search for the Bluetooth headset on your mobile phone. After the search is co
mpleted, “SY-X1230BT” should
appe
ar on your screen.
3. Select SY-X1230BT on the list, and it will begin to pair with your headset. When the headset is paired with your
mobile ph
one, the headset emits a “beep” sound and the LED light turns blue and begins to flash slowly.
Attention:
- Certain mobile phones require to insert a pairing code, If this is the case please input “0000” (4 zeros)
- If the headphone does not pair with a device within 3 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off.
- If you notice that the mobile phone or PC is not searching the headset, please re-enter into pairing mode by
following the instructions above.
POWER ON/OFF
1. Power On

Press and hold the S5 button for a short time (1 second), the LED turns blue for one second and the
headphone emits a “beep” sound. The headset will automatically connect to the device which it has already
been paired with previously. When the reconnection is established the headset emits a “beep” sound once
again and the blue light begins to flash slowly.
Attention:
- Reconnection can only be established if the headset has been previously paired with the device.
- If the headphone is not reconnected to the device within 5 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off.
2. Power Off
Press and hold the S5 button for about 3 seconds, the LED turns blue for a few seconds continuously and the
headset emits a “beep” sound. The device is now turned off.
MAKING A PHONE CALL
When the Bluetooth headset and your mobile phone has been completed the pairing connection, you can use
the headset to answer a call or enjoy the stereo music over the cell phone.
DIALING, ANSWERING & ENDING A CALL
1. Dialing a call
1.1 Use your mobile phone to dial as usual; the call will automatically be switched to the Bluetooth headset.
(For some mobile phones, you may need to switch to the headset manually)
1.2 You may redial the last number by pressing the S4 button once.
2. Answering and ending a call
2.1 When there is an incoming call the phone will ring through the headset. Press the S4 button once to
answer the call.
2.2 When you are in an active call, press the S5 button to transfer the call to the phone; press it again to
transfer back the active call from the phone to the headset. (Some mobile phones may not support this
function)
2.3 To reject an incoming call, press and hold the S4 button for 1 second.
2.4 To decrease the volume of the headset press and hold the S3 button. To Increase the volume of the
headset press and hold the S1 button.
2.5 To end a call, press the S4 button once.
MUSIC PLAYBACK
Before playing music through your headset, make sure that the mobile phone you are using supports the
Bluetooth A2DP.

2.To skip to the previous song, press the S1 button once
3.To resume or pause playback press the S2 button once.
