2. CUTTING THE FLUE DUCTS TO LENGTH
Refer to the Installation instructions supplied with the boiler.
a. With all the ducts assembled together and one 90° bend fitted to the boiler (see Fig. 1), cut to the following lengths:-
Rear flue Outer air duct length = finished wall thickness + 135 mm
Inner flue duct length = finished wall thickness + 172 mm
Side flue Outer air duct length = finished wall thickness + the distance from the inside wall to the side of the
boiler + 145 mm
Inner flue duct length = finished wall thickness + the distance from the inside wall to the side of the
boiler + 182 mm
Note: When cutting the flue ducts ensure that all cuts are square and burr free.
b. When using a flue bend within the flue length (see Fig. 2), prepare and cut the flue ducts as follows:-
a. Place the bend in the required position and cut/prepare the inner and outer ducts for fitting to one end of the bend.
b. Assemble the bend onto the ducts, as shown in Fig. 4, using the clamp and seal provided.
c. Position the remaining flue in the required position and mark the inner and outer ducts for the connection to the
other end of the bend.
d. Cut/prepare the ducts and assemble them to the bend, as shown in Fig. 4, using the clamp and seal supplied.
