The Digital Monitoring Products MX40 is a passive infrared and microwave motion detector designed to detect movement of an intruder and activate an alarm control panel. It features a wide-angle detection area of 40ft x 40ft and 78 PIR detection zones, providing comprehensive coverage of a room. The MX40's patented multi-focus lens and temperature compensation logic ensure reliable detection and minimize false alarms.

The MX40 offers adjustable pulse count (2 or 4) and LED on/off options for customization. It also includes a spare terminal, tamper switch, and tamper terminal for enhanced security. With its easy wiring knockout and wide wiring space, installation is simplified.
