Dear User
Please drive E-bike safely .The FEM2 instrument is one of the components to
operate an E-bike and to control cycling status. Please read instructions carefully
before using. Here we write the professional manual in order to make you
understand its materials, installation, setup, adjustment, maintenance and normal
use of the instrument clearly.
For your driving safety, before changing the settings, the first thing is to stop
before the relevant settings.

1.Open the display package, and take out LCD display and its components.
2.Use the Allen key to open the back of display and lock button, then take out
the rubber gasket.
3.Place the rubber gasket to the middle of the handlebar, and then fix the LCD
display to the rubber gasket on the faucet, and lock it with the latch.
4.Fix the Key module on the side of e-bike left brake.
User settings are divided into general settings and advanced settings.
Normal setting items: km / mile system, the speed limit, the backlight
brightness.
Advanced setting items: wheel diameter, automatic power-off time, the total
number of stalls.

The FEM2 display instrument has a special and integrated button which
consists of three single buttons fixed on the left side of the instrument. Its shape
and position shown as below:
During the subsequent description, the up button called "MODE"; the middle
button called "+" ,and the bottom button called "-" instead.
Press "MODE" button for 3 seconds to start up. In the startup mode, press
"MODE" button for another 3 seconds to shut down.
Note: If more than four hours without the use of E-bike, please take off the
battery from the E-bike and have a reasonable storage.
In the power-on state, press "-" button for 3 sencond to open the assist
function, and assist mode will shut down when release "-" button.
In the power-on state, press "+" button for 3 seconds to turn on the backlight
and press the "+" button for another 3 seconds will shut down the backlight. If the
E-bike is equipped with front / rear headlights, headlights will turn on or off together
with the backlight.

12.Speed Limit Setting
In the power-on state, press the "MODE" button to switch single /total milage.
Setting interface as shown below:
When started up,press the "+" button and the "-" button together for 3
seconds to enter the general setting mode, you will set the km / mile system setting
firstly, press "+" button or the "-" button to switch km / mile system. Setting interface
as shown below:
After setting km / mile system, press "MODE" button to enter the speed limit
setting, press "+" button to increase the speed limit and press "-" button to
decrease the speed limit. Setting range: 5-50Km / H; 3-31Mile / H. Setting interface
as shown below:

Note: When the wheel speed reaches or exceeds the set value, the motor’s
output power will continue to attenuate. For cycling safety, it is recommended to set
the speed limit at 25Km / H and below.
After setting the speed limit , press "MODE" button to enter the backlight
brightness settings; press "+" button to increase the backlight brightness and press
"-" button to decrease the backlight brightness. Setting range: 1-9. Setting interface
as shown below:
Short press “mode button”once again to exit the General Setting.
When started up, press the "+" button and the "-" button for 2 seconds to enter
the general setting mode, release all buttons, then press the "+" button and the "-"
button together, and at the same time press "MODE "button 8 times to enter the
advanced settings.

16.Automatic Power-Off Time Setting
After entering the advanced setting,the first setting is the wheel diameter (Unit:
inch), press "+" button to increase the wheel diameter and press "-" button to
decrease the wheel diameter. Setting range: 8-32; Set Units: inches. Setting
interface as shown below:
After setting the wheel diameter, press "MODE" button to enter the auto
power- off time setting, press "+" button to increase the auto power-off time and
press "-" button to decrease the auto power-off time. Setting range: 0-60 min.
Number “0” means no automatically power off

After setting the automatic power-off time, press "MODE" button to enter the
total stall setting, press "+" button to increase the total number of stalls, and press
"-" button to decrease the total number of stalls, setting range: 0 -9. After setting the
total stall, press "MODE" button to exit the advanced settings, the FEM2 instrument
will automatically save settings. Setting interface as shown below:
Note: The total stall does not include the 0 stall and L. Such as: the total stall
set to 3, then the actual stalls are 0,1,2,3,L.
After setting , the instrument needs to restart, then the settings take effect.
when the E-bike electronic control system fails, the FEM2 instrument will
automatically display the fault code. The definition of the table and fault code
display interface as shown below:

Note: Only the fault is solved, the instrument can exit from the fault code
display . Turn off the power supply before the fault is solved.

A: Please check the instrument and the controller connector contact reliability,
or the battery switch is turned on.

Q: How to solve the fault as the instrument shows?
A: Please self-troubleshooting refer to the fault code definition,if not please
contact the local dearer to solve.
If any product quality questions caused under normal use, during the warranty
period we will give limited warranty service.
Under the following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
1. Instruments have left the factory, any scratching and breakage.
2. The instrument is opened on their own.
3. Fails due to force majeure (such as fire, earthquake, etc.) or natural
disasters (such as lightning, etc.) caused .
4. exceed the warranty period
Warranty period: from the factory within 18 months.
