Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in serious personal
injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Use field equipment in a supervised environment with proper gear.
Inspect equipment prior to use. DO NOT use if it appears damaged or inoperable. Inspect belt
for wear or fraying. Replacement belt can be obtained from Rogers Athletic. NOTE: to avoid damage
to equipment, lock the Goal Post down in storage position if winds over 40mph are expected.
Always wear a helmet when training with the Goal Post.
If used during scrimmage or game conditions, attach safety padding (410357).
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may use the
Goal Post. If you loan someone your Goal Post, loan them these instructions also.
Read the Product Information Packet. Failure to read this packet is considered a misuse of this
equipment.
Become familiar with all caution and warning decals affixed to the field equipment before use.
Never cover or deface caution/warning labels.
Never move Goal Post while uprights are in up position. Moving the unit only when uprights are
stored reduces risk of tip over.

Take crossbar from storage position and insert in post (do not bolt in place).
Position in approximate location of use and disconnect from vehicle. If locating at a goal line, measure 49”
from the leading edge of the goal line to the front of the Goal Post trolley frame. Lower trailer jack.

Tilt one side of crossbar to ground and slide upright on crossbar and bolt tight. Repeat for opposite upright.
Level crossbar and secure with bolts. Check that cross bar is parallel to field’s end line before raising.
Bolt a streamer to each upright.

Crank the jacks until the wheels are 4 to 6 inches off the ground.
Note:
With 2 people, crank both jacks
simultaneously. With only 1 person, crank each jack a couple turns at a time and alternate between jacks.
Pull the pin out of the stabilizer-arm sleeve and slide the arm out. Re-pin through the sleeve at the next hole
in the arm. Pull the jack-assembly pin and rotate the jack perpendicular to the ground (the pin clicks back
into place). Repeat this process for the other stabilizer.

Secure the support beam by pinning through both vertical tubes on the frame. Insert the fastener pin
through the support beam pin. WARNING: Failure to pin the support beam as shown here could result in
severe bodily injury, death and/or property damage. Replace all pins when goal post is not being used.
Raise the Goal Post into full upright
position by cranking the winch at the hitch
end of the trailer.

Failure to follow all procedures listed below may cause serious injury and/or
decrease equipment functionality.
Frequently check to see that all bolts are securely fastened.
Finishing recommendations for crossbar and uprights: Prep with mineral spirits or lacquer thinner.
Following the manufacturer’s instructions, prime with True-Test #1280, then apply True-Test XO-Rust
oil base paint in your choice of color.
Field equipment should be washed periodically with soapy water to maintain original surface
finish.
Replace any damaged equipment with genuine Rogers Athletic parts. Failure to do so may result
in unsafe equipment and/or personal injury.
