This symbol invites you to read these instructions carefully before

using the appliance, and also to inform other users, if necessary.

Store this booklet for future reference and for the entire lifetime of the

device. If any parts of these instructions are difficult to understand or if

in doubt, contact the manufacturer at the address indicated on the last

page before using the product.

This symbol indicates Class II electrical insulation, meaning that the

plug of the cord is not earthed.

GENERAL WARNINGS

• This appliance is only for indoor use in small environments, to eliminate

mosquitoes and similar insects in the manner specified in these

instructions. It can also be used as a soft night light. It can be used in

semi-enclosed environments (balcony/patio/loggia), only if the device is

not exposed to the weather (sun, rain, humidity, wind, etc.). Cannot be

used in barns, stables or similar places. Any other use must be

considered inappropriate and dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be

held responsible for any damage caused by improper, incorrect and

irresponsible use and/or by repairs carried out by unqualified personnel.

• It must not be used outdoors.

• Do not plug into plug points covered by curtains, tapestries, etc. or hidden

behind furniture.

• Never insert any tools or metal objects through the openings of the

mosquito repeller.

• Should the appliance fall or not work correctly, unplug it immediately.

Check that no parts are damaged, and thereafter turn it back on: if in any

doubt, consult a qualified professional.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by

children.

• The appliance must be kept out of reach of children.

• Warning: when using electrical appliances, always adhere to basic safety

precautions to prevent the risk of fire, electric shocks and physical injury.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (sun, rain, etc..).

• Do not use the appliance if it does not work properly or if it appears

• Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning the

appliance.

• If the appliance is not in use, unplug it from the power supply.

• The appliance must not be used in places where flammable materials,

explosive dust or similar substances are present.

• This device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer

or a separate remote control system. This prevents the risk of fire should

the device be covered or not positioned correctly.

Warning: do not cover the device when it is on, to prevent fire hazards.

INSTALLATION

• After unpacking the appliance, check that all parts have been included; if

in doubt, do not use and contact a qualified technician. The packaging

materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, nails, etc.) must not be left within

reach of children, as they are possible sources of danger and must be

disposed of according to applicable regulations in the appropriate

recycling containers.

• Before plugging in the device, ensure that the details on the rating label

(power, etc...) correspond to those of your power supply. The use of

adaptors, multi-plug points or extensions is not recommended; if it is

necessary to use them, they must conform with safety regulations and the

total current (amps) must not be rated lower than the maximum current of

the appliance.

• Before each use, ensure that the appliance is in good order. If in any

doubt, consult a qualified professional.

• The plug must be easy to access so that it can be easily disconnected in

case of an emergency.

• Place the repeller far from heat sources, sharp edges, flammable fabrics

(curtains, upholstery, etc..), flammable gas or spray cans.

• Always ensure that there is enough space surrounding it for air

circulation.

• In case of breakdown or malfunction switch off the appliance and have it

checked by a qualified technician.

USE

Before each use, ensure that the appliance is in good working order: if the

plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service

centre or by someone with a similar qualification in order to prevent any

risks.

If the appliance is not being used for long periods of time, remove the

plug from the power supply.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power supply.

• To clean the body of the mosquito repeller, use a soft cloth lightly

moistened with water: Do not use steel wool or abrasive products, do not

use water or any other liquid and do not immerse it into liquids.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, do not wash it

under running water or in a dishwasher.

• When the appliance is not in use, store it in a dry place.

• If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it is

made inoperative by cutting the power cord (first ensure that the

appliance has been unplugged from the power supply), and ensure that

any parts that could represent a risk to playing children are put away.
