Getting Started

One extra screw, dowel and rubber foot are included as spares, keep these in a

safe location.

a) Attaching Rubber Feet

Rubber feet are included to prevent the stand from slipping when placed on a desk. Remove

the adhesive backing and attach to the base plate as shown.

If you plan on mounting the stand onto a wall or ceiling, you may skip this step. Refer

to section “c) Wall or Ceiling Mounting” for more information. Keep the rubber feet in

a safe location for future use.

Stand for Amazon Echo Dot

Intended Use

This stand will allow you to place your Echo Dot (2

generation) on a desk or securely mounted

to a wall. A locking top plate offers easy removal for cleaning, and the translucent plastic

material accentuates the glow from the Echo Dot ring light. The open design provides clear

access to ports and controls without blocking the microphone and sound from the speaker.

For safety purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product

for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Read the

instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties

only together with its operating instructions.

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and

Placing Device into Stand

 Alwaysmakesurethetopplateissecurelyfastenedandthedeviceisrmlyheldin

place before letting go.

Wall or Ceiling Mounting

When drilling or tightening screws, make sure not to damage any cables, wires or

pipes located underneath the surface. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables

causes the life-threatening danger of an electric shock!

Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct type

and condition. Lightweight partition walls or those made from gypsum boards are

normally unsuitable.

 Makesurethatthexinglocationissufcientlystableandrm,inordertosupport

the product and your device.

Check before working, whether the screws and dowels enclosed are suitable for the

relevant wall mounting. If in doubt, contact a specialist before installing the product.

The choice of an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal injury or

material damage!

 Preparethesurfaceforinstallation.Itshouldbedry,clean,atandfreefromdebris.

Use a 6 mm diameter drill bit to prepare holes for the dowels.

Do not over tighten screws as this may damage the base plate.

 Alwaysmakesurethetopplateissecurelyfastenedandthedeviceisrmlyheldin

place before letting go.

You can use the holes on the base plate as a template to mark where to place the

dowels.

Care and Cleaning

• Remove the device from the stand before each cleaning.

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as

they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
