ESAB FC-5B Foot operated remote current and contractor control is designed to be used with any power source that employs a single (common) current and contactor control 14-pin Amphenol receptacle. It contains a potentiometer which controls the current output when the Panel/Remote Switch (PAS) on the power source is placed in the "Remote" position. This remote control also consists of a switch when the PRS is placed in the "Remote" position. Both the potentiometer and switch are operated when the FC-5B pedal is depressed.

This remote control is perfect for welding applications where the user needs to have precise control over the welding current and contactor. The potentiometer allows the user to set the desired welding current, and the switch allows the user to start and stop the welding process. The FC-5B is also equipped with a 30-ft. cable, which provides ample reach for most welding applications.
