Metronome mode
Thereare50memorylocationsavailable
inthemetronomemode.Settingscan
bemadeusingtheBEATandPATTERN
displays.
1. Pressthe[MEMORY]button."MEMORY"
willflash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
selectamemorylocation1to50.
BEAT:ThevaluesforTEMPO,rhythm,
VOICEandBEATaresetusingtheBEAT
display.
2. Pressthe[TEMPO]button,"TEMPO"will
ash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
adjustthevalue.Temporange:30to250
beatsperminute.
3. Thefollowingfourrhythmsareavailable:
.Everyrhythmcorrespondstoa
mastervolumesliderbymeansofwhichyou
canadjustthevolumeandedittherhythm.
4. Pressthe[VOICE]button."VOICE"will
flash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
selectonetimbrefromthevechoices.
5. Pressthe[BEAT/PATTERN]button,"BEAT"
willash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
adjusttheBEATvalue.BEATrange:1–8,
1+1–8+8.Pressthe[BEAT/PATTERN]
buttonagaintochangetothePATTERN
display.
PATTERN:ThevaluesforTEMPO,
PATTERNnumberandthevolumeofthe
respectivedrumsounds(KICK,SNARE,
HI-HAT,OTHER1andOTHER2)areset
usingthePATTERNdisplay.
6. Pressthe[PATTERN]button."PATTERN"will
ash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
adjustthePATTERNvalue.Range:1to50
(1to30arefactorypresetrhythms,31to50
areusersettings).Pleaserefertotherhythm
editsection.
7. Pressthe[VOICE]buttontochangetothe
BEATdisplay.
8. Whenparametersarechanged,"EDIT"will
appearonthedisplay.Pressthe[WRITE]
button."MEMORY"willflash.Pressthe
[WRITE]buttonagain."MEMORY"willash
quickly.Whenitstops,thecurrentparam-
etersarestored.Ifyouwanttoexitthemenu
withoutstoringthemodiedparameters,
pressthe[START/STOP]buttonafteryou
havepressedthe[WRITE]buttonfortherst
time.

Loop mode
Pressoneofthethree[LOOPPROG],
[LOOPSET]or[LOOPSTYLE]buttonsto
starttheloopmodefromthemetronome
modeorrhythm-editmode.
1. Pressthe[LOOPPROG]button,"LOOP
PROG"willash.Usethe[TEMPO/VALUE]
dialtoselecttheloopgroup.Range:1to16.
2. Pressthe[LOOPSET]button,"LOOP"will
ash.Usethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialtoset
uphowoftentheloopwillbeplayed.Range:
0to99.
3. Pressthe[LOOPSTYLE]button."STYLE"
willflash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
selectthestyle.Range:1to8.
4. Pressthe[MEMORY]button,"MEMORY"
willash.Rotatethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
selecttherhythm.
5. Whenparametersarechanged,“EDIT”will
appearonthedisplay.Pressthe[WRITE]
button."LOOPPROG"willflash.Pressthe
[WRITE]buttonagain."LOOPPROG"will
ashquickly.Whenitstops,thecurrent
parametersarestored.Ifyouwanttoexitthe
menuwithoutstoringthemodiedparam-
eters,pressthe[START/STOP]buttonafter
youhavepressedthe[WRITE]buttonforthe
rsttime.
Rhythm-edit mode
Pressthe[STYLE]or[RHYTHMSET]but-
tontostarttherhythm-editmodefromthe
metronomemodeorloopmode.
1. Pressthe[STYLE]button,"STYLE"will
ash.Usethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialtoselect
theSTYLEgrouptobeedited(31to50are
userSTYLEsuggestions).
2. Pressthe[RHYTHMSET]button,"BEAT"
willash.Usethe[TEMPO/VALUE]dialto
selectthetimesignature(1/4,2/4,3/4,4/4).
3. Pressthe[RHYTHMSET]buttonagain,
"RHYTHMSET"willash.Usethe[TEMPO/
VALUE]dialtoselecttherhythmpattern
tobeedited.Thefollowingverhythms
areavailable:
.Theslidersunder
theLCDcontroltherelativetimbreofeach
rhythmIfthereisavolumeicondisplayed,
itmeansthistimbreisopen.Ifthereisno
volumeicon,itmeansthistimbreisclosed.
4. Whenparametersarechanged,“EDIT”will
appearonthedisplay.Pressthe[WRITE]
button."STYLE"willash.Rotatethe
[TEMPO/VALUE]dialtoselectthestyle
group(31to50areavailableforuserset-
tings).Pressthe[WRITE]buttonagain,
"STYLE"willashquickly.Whenitstops,the
currentparametersarestored.Ifyouwant
toexitthemenuwithoutstoringthemodied
parameters,pressthe[START/STOP]button
afteryouhavepressedthe[WRITE]button
forthersttime.
5. Thetempodefaultsettingintherhythm-edit
modeis120beatsperminute(bpm).Press
the[TAP]buttontochangethetempo.Press
the[TEMPO]buttontochangetothemetro-
nomemode.
