Important User Instructions
1. Thank you for purchasing the DVR-GPS300D Driving Recorder!
2. This is an in-car electronic device which is designed to integrate data
storage and video recording while driving. It saves driving records as
data and video that can trace back the original driving route, time and
incidents. It provides evidence of mishaps that may occur or show critical
video in accidents.
3. We are not responsible for any failure in recording video or damage to
the video files. If any type of error occurs, the most like causes are:
The product is not turned on.
Flash drive is not properly installed.
The product has been seriously damaged.
Flash drive was removed during recording.
Proper installation procedures were not followed.
4. To assure proper usage of the product and your safety, prior to using the
product, read the following description thoroughly and comply with all the
instructions and be aware of the meaning of warning messages.
Caution
1. The product can only be installed in a close space in a vehicle.
2. Properly keep the product and its accessories in a place that children
cannot reach to prevent product damage or choking.
3. Do not use a power source that is not DC12V to prevent fire or electric
shock hazard.
4. Keep the product away from fire.
5. Make sure the product is properly installed prior to use. To prevent
detachment of the product due to wire movement, make sure all wires
are properly installed.
6. A designated power cable is provided to connect to the car cigarette
lighter. Using unapproved power cable may cause product damage or a
fire hazard.

Warning
1. Disconnect power immediately if any odor or smoke occurs during the

use of the product.
2. The product can be only repaired by a licensed and trained technician.
Do not disassemble or repair the product.
3. Do not open the product case, change the equipment, replace parts or
use non-original parts (including flash drive, AV cable, etc.) as this will
void the warranty!
4. The product has a warranty label. If the label is damaged, the warranty
will be voided!
5. Do not expose the product to direct sun light, high temperature, rain or
humid and contamination environment.
6. Do not to spill any liquid on the product or leave the product in any liquid.
7. Do not use any volatile solvent for cleaning.
8. Do not adjust the product while driving.
9. When the product is plugged in, do not touch the product with wet hands.
10. If any of following situations occurs, immediately remove the power
plug and send the product back to the original retail store for repair:
Power cable or power plug is damaged.
Liquid gets inside the product.
The product is dropped or the product case is damaged.
The product cannot be started normally or a fault occurs after startup.
Attention
1. For best performance, keep the product in the horizontal position.
2. Follow the instructions regarding indicator lights to operate the product.
3. If the cigarette lighter jack in your car is powered continuously even with
the engine is off, always disconnect the power cable from the cigarette
lighter jack before leaving your car, to avoid using up the car battery.
4. Make a backup copy for all important driving records.
5. Disconnect the power before removing the flash drive and wait until all
lights are off to remove the flash drive.
6. Any serious impact may cause loss of recording.
7. If the product comes with the GPS function:
If the memory space has only 10% of memory space remaining, the
device will beep two sounds.
The device will continuously beep when memory is full.
Use the DVR-GPS300D application to release the memory space in Micro
PD.

1) A general commercial GPS system may have an average positioning
error of over 15 meters. It only provides rough positioning data.
2) GPS reception performance is affected by weather or environment.
When the GPS receiver is started, it usually takes a while to lock into
the satellite and transmit data.
3) Tinted windshields may affect recording image quality and GPS
reception performance. It is recommended to use a GPS external
antenna on the top of a car to improve signal reception.
1. Product Description
DVR-GPS300D provides Video recording integrated with GPS features. It
combines GPS and Digital Video (2-channel) functions into a system. The
GPS is recording a point every one second and the camera provides VGA (640
x 480) resolution. When you use this device while you are driving a car, it
provides GPS position with video recording files.
Using the Customize application, the video file you record will show the route
on the Google Map as well as the live video for inside and outside of your car.

2. Plug the flash drive into the slot marked “CONFIG”.
You need to set up device in the application by plugging the flash drive into the
slot marked “CONFIG. If you want to insert a second flash drive, set it up in
the application to get the correct recording time data.
3. Turn the screw clockwise to close the bottom cover.
4. Attach the mounting frame to the main device.

5. Place the suction cup and mounting frame on the windshield and push the
locking lever down to secure the mounting frame.

6. Turn the axle on the mounting frame to adjust the angle of the recorder. It
needs to be parallel with the road.
7. Connect the power cable by plugging it into the DC port.

8. Turn the car on and connect the power cable to the cigarette lighter. After
the buzzer makes three beeps and the GPS and record indicator light up,
the system will start recording.
9. Use the wire clamp to secure the cable when driving.

Note: For the best recording, we suggest attaching the DVR as close to the
rearview mirror as possible.
Do not replace or remove the flash drive when the device is operating.
6. Application
6.01. Setup
1. When you insert the CD-ROM in your computer, the system will
automatically run the setup of application. Or, you can double click
“Setup.exe” in the CD-ROM to run the application.
2. Click “Next” to go to next step.

3. Select the path that you want to install the application. Click “Next” to go to
next step.
4. The system will start installing the application.
5. When the setup is complete, you will see an icon called “GPS300D Player”.
Double click on this icon to run the application.

6.03.01. Open File by “DISK”
1. Make sure the MicroPD is connected to the PC.
2. Select the letter represents your MicroPD and press “OK”.

1. Click “Browse” to find the backup file in your PC.

To read the file from the MicroPD, insert it in your computer.

To read the file from your hard drive, copy the file to your
computer.

6.04. Format MicroPD
If you want to use a new MicroPD for recording files, you must plug it in to your
computer and press the button to format it before you insert it to your DVR.
Note: For security issues, you must use this button to format the MicroPD.
If you have a new MicroPD and want to use it with your DVR, you must format
it by following these steps:
1. Connect MicroPD to your computer.
2. Click “Format” button.

3. Click “Yes” to go to next step.
4. Click “OK” to go to next step.
5. Click “Start” to format the MicroPD.
