Blichmann TBCA
Blichmann TBCA is an optional tri-clamp blow-off kit for Blichmann Engineering conical fermentors. It helps manage pressure during fermentation and prevents dangerous over-pressurization. The kit includes a 1” tri-clamp 90-degree stainless steel elbow, a 1” tri-clamp bulkhead nut and fitting, o-rings, hose barb fittings, a tool for the sanitary bulkhead, a P-clip with a nylock nut, bolt, and washers, and a rubber stopper.
The TBCA is easy to assemble and use. Simply sanitize the hole in the lid of your fermentor and the fittings, install the o-ring in the bulkhead fitting, and thread the bulkhead nut through the hole. Tighten the fitting using an open-end wrench and the special tool provided. Then, install the elbow and barb fittings using the clamps and gaskets.
