2. Operation of Timers
a) Preheating Mode: In this mode the shelfs are currently preheating and are not operational to hold
product.

b) Product Selection: Once Preheat has finished and the product is ready to use, it displays grey. To select
a product to start the timer, click once on the product you want to start, it turns green and starts counting
down.
If you start a second timer for the same product, the second timer displays in dark grey, until the first timer
expires or is reset, and then turns green.
Once the timer nears the end, it beeps and displays yellow within the green bar, notifying the operator to
start cooking more product if needed. Once the product has expired, the timer beeps multiple times and
flashes Discard (in red) on the screen.

c) Reduce timer: If you want to reduce a timer, tap a product once to start the holding process, tap it again
before the timer starts. Each tap reduces the timer in 5-minute increments. Once you get to the time you
desire, stop tapping, the status turns green or grey depending on if another timer is already started.
d) Reset timer: If you want to reset a timer to clear it, tap the timer once and a reset option display. Select
the check mark to clear the timer.
2. Checking Shelf Temperatures
On the menu screen, press the thermometer button on the left. This brings up the current temperatures of
the shelfs. The left side displays the top heater of that slot, and the right displays the bottom heater of that
slot. To exit the menu, press the back arrow button on the left.

3. Switching Menu Modes
To switch to a different menu option, click the selection menu lines on the main menu bar to access the mode
switch option. You can then swipe to change each slot to a certain daypart or all slots at once by selecting the
switching mode on the left menu.
4. Clean Mode
To access the clean mode, press the clean mode button on the main menu. This gives you two options:

Clean Mode
a) Clean Screen: Tapping this option locks the control display for 10 seconds so that it can be cleaned.
b) Daily Cleaning mode: Tapping this option starts a cool down of the heating slot. This is also the daily
clean option for the holding cabinet. Once the slots are cool enough, safe to clean displays on the screen.
Refer to the McDonald’s Daily cleaning guidelines to clean the unit.
