The Trap-Tite Trap Seal is designed to be used in conjunction with
a code approved trap seal (often referred to as a P-trap) in drainage
systems including oor drains. Trap-Tite is available in four sizes:
2”, 3”, 3.5” and 4”.
Typical applications for the Trap-Tite include 2”, 3”, 3.5” and 4” oor
drains, basement drains, mop sink drains, and other types of drains
used in maintenance areas. The Trap-Tite blocks harmful sewer gases
and/or pests from entering a nished building space in the event that
the P-trap is not sealed with an appropriate amount of liquid.

PRODUCT FEATURES
• Mitigates trap seal loss due to evaporation
• Prevents harmful sewer gases from entering building
• Protects against entry of vermin into habitable spaces
• Sealing rings on the outer edge of the Trap-Tite will keep device
in place for the life of the product while the inner aps will open
when liquids pour down the drain.
• ASSE 1072 rated AF-GW
• Rated for grease-laden waste applications
NOTE:
A. This barrier type oor drain trap seal protection device is not for use
as a primary trap seal.
B. This product should not be removed from the packaging until it is to
be installed.
C. Installation should be conducted in accordance with all local codes.
D. Trap-Tite inline trap seal device shall not be used in lieu of a trap
primer.
Remove drain ba
rrel/strainer from the drain base and gently push Trap-
Tite into the hub of the drain. Replace the drain barrel/strainer.

NEW CONSTRUCTION:
Remove the strainer from the drain barrel and gently insert Trap-Tite into the
barrel, making sure the strainer can be replaced without touching the Trap-Tite.
