4.Placethenewspaperballabout13cm(5inches)

infrontofthemachine.

5.Starttheengine.

6.Engagetheblade.

7.Releasetheblade-controlbar.

8.Immediatelypushthemachineoverthe

newspaperball.

9.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingparts

tostop.

10.Gotothefrontofthemachineandcheckthe

newspaperball.

•Ifthegrassbagisonthemachine,removeit(AofFigure20).

•Iftherear-dischargeplugisnotinstalled,gripitbythehandle,raisethereardeector,andinsertitintothe

rear-dischargechuteuntilthelatchlocksintoplace(BofFigure20).

1.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.

2.Raiseandholdupthereardeector(AofFigure21).

3.Removetherear-dischargeplugbypushinginthelatchwithyourthumbandpullingtheplugoutfrom

themachine(BandCofFigure21).

4.Installthebag-rodendsintothenotchesatthebaseofthehandle,androckthebagbackandforthto

ensurethatthebag-rodendsareseatedatthebottomofbothnotches(DofFigure21).

5.Lowerthereardeectoruntilitrestsonthegrassbag.
