Prewash cycle increases programme duration by approx.15.
Consumption data were measured in normalised conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60456.
The data on the energy label refers to the Cotton 60°C programme when using Energy save special option.
Consumption values in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table depending on the water pressure,
the water supply temperature, the load and the type of wash.
*) The Time remaining indicator (if available) may also vary from the values in the table, since the particular house-
hold conditions are taken into account by the Time remaining indicator.
FOR DAILY USE:
1. Turn on the water supply tap.
2. Sort and load the laundry by fabric type and colour.
3. Close the door.
4. Add detergent and additives.
5. Select programme, temperature, special options.
6. The light above the Start button flashes. Press the Start button for about one second.
NOTE:
During the first 15 minutes of Cotton and Easy Care programmes (each without Prewash)
you can open the door to add items to the wash.
This is not possible with "Quick Wash".
CHANGING A PROGRAMME:
a) SELECT NEW PROGRAMME AND CONTINUE
1.Select new programme.
2.The light above the Start button flashes. Press the Start button for about one sec-
ond.
The new programme will continue from the same programme step where the running
programme was interrupted.
b) TO CANCEL A PROGRAMME THAT IS ALREADY RUNNING AND START A NEW
PROGRAMME
There's no need to add more detergent when you start the new programme, because no
water is drained out when you cancel a programme.
1.Hold down the Start button for five seconds, or until the programme control audibly
restarts and the time remaining indicator shows 0.
2.Wait until the programme sequence indicator returns to the left.
3.Set the programme selector to 0.
4.Set the programme selector to the new programme and select any new
special options you require.
5.The light above the Start button flashes. Press the Start button for about one second.
TO INTERRUPT THE PROGRAMME - PAUSE:
To interrupt the running programme for a certain period and continue it at a later time:
1. Set the programme selector to 0.
2. Set the programme again after the desired pause.
3. Press Start button for about one second.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:
Your washing machine is equipped with automatic safety functions for the early detection
and indication of any possible faults, and for reacting appropriately.
Often these are no more than minor problems that can be solved quickly. Examples of
these are:
The appliance fails to start.
Aftertreatment agents not fully washed in.
The appliance vibrates during the spin cycle.
Load not completely spun at the end of the programme.
Advice on these points can be found in the instructions for use in the Troubleshooting
Guide section.
What to do if the washing machine safety system detects a fault.
The programme is interrupted and the various indicators show the fault:
