Care and maintenance of the glass ceramic cooktop
Troubleshooting guide
The hob does not work
• Did you press the control
buttons according to the
instructions given in the
section “Using the hob” of the
attached ”Product sheet”?
• Is there a power failure?
•Did you dry the hob
thoroughly after cleaning it?
The hob will automatically switch off if
a fault occurs. The fault will be
indicated by the letters “F“ and “L”
flashing on the corresponding display.
At the same time, a warning buzzer
will sound for 3 seconds every 30
seconds. The buzzer will go off after
15 minutes.
Important!
If you cannot turn the glass ceramic
hob off after using it, immediately
unplug it.
After-Sales Technical Service
Before contacting the After-
sales Technical Service
1.
Try to eliminate the problem
(consult the “Troubleshooting
guide”).
2.
Switch the appliance off, then
switch it on again to see if the
fault has been eliminated.
If the fault persists after the
above checks, contact the

Service.
Always specify:
•
a brief description of the fault,
•
the exact type and model of the
appliances,
•
the service number (the number
after the word “Service” on the

hob or on the Product Sheet.
The service number is also given

•
your address and phone
number.
If any repairs are required, contact
an

In the unlikely event that an
operation or repair is carried out by
an
unauthorised technician,
always request a statement of the
work carried out and demand the
use of
original spare parts
.
Failure to comply with these
instructions can compromise
the safety and quality of the
product
.
NEVER use high pressure water
or steam cleaners.
It is advisable
to clean the hob after every use,
when cool. In this way grime will
not accumulate and cleaning will be
easier.
•
Use a clean cloth, absorbent
paper and washing up liquid, or
specific products for cleaning
the glass ceramic top.
•
Remove any stubborn cooking
deposits with the scraper
supplied and specific products.
Remove any food scraps from
the glass ceramic top before
they become hard.
•
Foods with high sugar content
(toffee, fruit juice, jam, etc.)
that boil over while cooking or
spattered sugar stains must be
immediately removed using a
scraper.
•
Do not use abrasive products,
bleach, oven-cleaner spray or
steel wool.
It is advisable to periodically go
over the glass ceramic hob with
the special waxes available on the
market.
