TRONIC KH 6900 AUTOMATIC PET FEEDER fills bowls with wet or dry pet food and even water. Safety instructions
Danger! Do not place the automatic
pet feeder …
near open fire or heat sources.
Otherwise the automatic pet feeder
may overheat and be irreparably dam-
aged. There is also the risk of a fire!
For this reason, never place any candles
or the like on the automatic pet
feeder.
near water or in damp environments.
If water enters inside the automatic
pet feeder, it may be irreparably
damaged. There is also the risk of an
electric shock! For this reason, never
put water into any of the four food
chambers. Only ever use the insert
provided for this with the appliance.
Caution!
With old batteries in particular, battery
leaks may occur. For this reason, always
remove the batteries when you are not
using the automatic pet feeder for
longer periods of time. This will protect
it from damage due to leaking battery
acid. However, please note that removing
the batteries will delete all saved
settings.
Never place the automatic pet feeder
outdoors, only use it in enclosed rooms.
Weather influences (e.g. frost, strong
sunlight) can irreparably damage the
automatic pet feeder.
Note:
The automatic pet feeder does not con-
tain any parts that can be maintained by
the user. If the casing of the automatic
pet feeder is opened, the warranty will
become void!
If repairs are needed, contact one of our
service partners in your area. The
addresses of our service partners can be
found on the warranty card. This is in-
cluded with the automatic pet feeder.
No liability is accepted or warranty
provided for damages resulting from...

unqualified persons

Startup
Carefully remove the automatic pet
feeder from the packaging.
Before starting up the appliance,
inspect the package contents for
completeness and any visible damage.
Carefully lay the automatic pet feeder
on its top side. The bottom side of
the automatic pet feeder with the
battery compartments and the
main switch is now accessible.
Open the battery compartments
and lift up the battery compartment
cover.
In each of the two battery compart-
ments , insert two batteries of type
C/baby/1.5 V. The batteries are not
included. Make certain that the bat-
teries are inserted into the battery
compartments with the correct po-
larity. The correct polarity is indica-
ted inside the battery compartments.
Then place the battery compartment
cover back on the battery compart-
ments . Push the battery compart-
ment cover in until it snaps audibly
into place.
Set the main switch to ON.
Turn the automatic pet feeder over
and place it on a flat surface.
The automatic pet feeder is now ready
for use.

Operation
Setting the time
Make certain that the main switch
on the bottom side of the
automatic pet feeder is ON.
Hold the SET button pressed until
the hour indicator in the display
begins to blink.
Press the MODE button until the
hour indicator shows the current
time.
Press the SET button once to con-
firm the setting. The minute indica-
tor in the display now begins to
blink.
Press the MODE button until the
minute indicator shows the current
time.
Press the SET button once to con-
firm the setting. The hour and min-
ute indicators now begin to blink.
By pressing the MODE button ,
you can now switch between two
time display formats:
• 12-hour AM/PM format, as is typi-
cal in the USA
and
• 24-hour format, as is typical in most
European/Asian countries
To save the settings, now press the
SET button .
Recording voice messages
To draw your pet to the automatic pet
feeder for the programmed feedings,
you can record a voice message. The fa-
miliar sound of your voice can also make
it easier for the pet to grow accustomed
to using the automatic pet feeder.
To record a voice message:
Hold down the REC button . Move
as close as possible to the micro-
phone MIC and speak your message.
The recording may be a maximum of
six seconds long. During this time,
the LO BATT indicator lights up.
Release the REC button as soon as
you have finished your message.
Your recording will now be played
three times at every programmed
feeding.
If you would like to listen to your
recording, press the PLAY button
once.
Using the automatic pet feeder
Loosen the lid on the top side of
the automatic pet feeder. Do not
apply force when doing so, other-
wise it may be damaged. Then
remove the lid from the automatic
pet feeder.
Remove the cover with water dish
from the automatic pet feeder.
Now fill the food chambers with wet
or dry food. You can add food for up
to four feedings.
Note: At the programmed feeding times,
the food chambers open in the order of
the numbering.
If you would like to …
program only a single feeding: Add
the food to chamber 1.
program only two feedings: Add food
to chambers 1 and 2.
program only three feedings: Add
food to chambers 1 to 3.
Slide the cover flap for the food
chambers back to its original
position.
Place the cover with water dish
back on the automatic pet feeder.
The pins on the bottom side of the
cover must fit into the holes on the
inner edge of the casing .
Now place the lid back on the
automatic pet feeder. The pins on
the bottom side of the lid must fit
into the holes on the outer edge of
the casing . Press carefully on the
lid until it rests firmly.
Do not apply force when doing so,
otherwise it may be damaged.
If you would also like to provide water
in addition to food, leave the lid off
the automatic pet feeder. Add water to
the insert in the cover .
You also have the option of inserting
typical wet food portion-sized dishes in-
to one of the food chambers. To do this,
use rectangular wet food portion-sized
dishes (e.g. Lidl Coshida) and the adap-
ter for wet food portion-sized dishes .
Inserting a portion-sized dish into the
automatic pet feeder:
Remove the lid of the portion-sized
dish.
Slide the portion-sized dish into the
adapter for wet food portion-sized
dishes as shown in Fig. 1 and 2.
Insert the adapter including
portion-sized dish into food
chamber 1 (see Fig. 3).

Programming feeding times
1. Make certain that …
the main switch on the bottom side
of the automatic pet feeder is set to
ON and
the time has been set correctly – as
described under "Setting the time".
2. To program the first feeding: Press
the MODE button once.
The following appears in the display :
• 1 for the first feeding to be pro-
grammed
• The time currently set for the first
feeding to be programmed
3. Hold down the SET button until
the indicated time begins to blink.
4. Press the MODE button until the
hour indicator shows the desired
time. Please note that you can only
program feedings on the hour
(e.g. 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock, etc.).
5. To confirm the set time, press the SET
button once. The display will
then show:
• 2 for the second feeding to be pro-
grammed
• The time currently set for the sec-
ond feeding to be programmed
Repeat steps 3 to 5 to program
additional feedings. Please note that
a maximum of four feedings can be
programmed. After programming of
the fourth feeding, the current time
is once again shown in the display .
Programming fewer than four feedings:
First set the time(s) for the desired
feedings. Then confirm the indicated
times for the additional feedings by
pressing the SET button .
To subsequently change one or more
of the programmed times: Follow
steps 2 to 5 in this section again.
Starting the automatic pet feeder timer
immediately:
Press the START NOW button once. If
you have recorded a voice message, this
will be played once. The bowl with the
food chambers now turns to the start
position. The bell symbol is shown in the
display .

for tomorrow:
Instead of pressing the START NOW but-
ton , press the START TOM button .
If you have recorded a voice message,
this will be played once. The bowl with
the food chambers now turns to the
start position. The bell symbol and Zz
are now shown in the display .
Replacing the batteries of the automatic
pet feeder
If the battery status display LO BATT
lights up, the inserted batteries are low
on charge. Always replace all four
batteries with new type C/baby/1.5 V
batteries. To do this, follow steps 2 to 5
in the section "Operation".
Note: Do not dispose of batteries in house-
hold waste! Drop off used batteries at a
collection or disposal site. Used
batteries can also be returned to the
shop where they were purchased.
Cleaning
Clean the automatic pet feeder and its
components regularly. For daily use, we
recommend a cleaning at least once per
week.
For cleaning:
Set the main switch on the
bottom side of the automatic pet
feeder to OFF.
Loosen the lid on the top side of
the automatic pet feeder. Do not apply
force when doing so, otherwise it
may be damaged. Then remove the
lid from the automatic pet feeder.
Remove the cover with water dish
from the automatic pet feeder.
Remove the cover flap for the food
chambers .
Lastly, remove the bowl with the
four food chambers from the
casing .
To clean the casing, use only a damp
cloth and a mild cleanser. Then
carefully dry the casing.
Danger! Never hold the casing under
flowing water or immerse it in water!
Otherwise the automatic pet feeder may
be irreparably damaged. There is also
the risk of an electric shock!
The lid , cover , cover flap and
bowl can all be cleaned with hot
water and cleanser. Be sure to rinse
the parts thoroughly to remove any
cleaning product residue.
Dry the lid , cover , cover flap
and bowl carefully. Then place
them back into the casing in their
original positions.
Set the main switch on the
bottom side of the automatic pet
feeder back to ON.

Disposal
Do not dispose of the automatic pet feed-
er in household waste. Contact the office
of your city or community responsible
for waste disposal and management.
Ask there what opportunities exist or
are required for disposal of electronic
devices.
Note: Always remove the batteries before
disposing of the automatic pet feeder.
Do not dispose of batteries in household
waste! Drop off used batteries at a
collection or disposal site. Used batteries
can also be returned to the shop where
they were purchased.
