• NEVER PLACE THE EEN-MGPRS UNIT IN A METAL BOX!
• The GPRS unit's "Alert" terminals do not function if you connect the GPRS unit to a central unit. Only the
central unit's alert terminals would then be configurable.
• The EEN-GPRS unit's LEDs indicate the reception quality of the surrounding GPRS network: The more LEDs that
are lit, the better the reception. For optimum performance, ensure that three LEDs are lit.
• The presence of button beeps indicates that the central unit is properly connected ( D+ D- cable bus )
• The presence of backlighting indicates that the keypad is powered on.
• REMEMBER TO RECORD THE EEN-MGPRS CONTRACT NUMBER AND ACCESS INFORMATION.

The lock and electric magnet lock supply voltage must be less than 42 V AC or 60 V DC. If the
supply voltage is higher than these values, then an intermediate relay (of the correct rating) must be
used to control the electronic lock.
IMPORTANT:
The installation of the varistors provided with the central unit determines the proper operation of the system and its longevity.
1. The varistor must be connected as close as possible to the lock or magnet lock.
2. The free access periods should be avoided in case there is a door lock!
3. The provided varistor is 12 V.
IF YOU ARE INSTALLING MULTIPLE POWER SUPPLIES, BE SURE TO CONNECT EACH EARTH TERMINAL (-) TOGETHER.
