Do not let anyone lick the connection plug.
(Licking it could cause burns, electric shocks or injury.)
Do not use near inflammable products (alcohol, benzene, thinner,
sprays, hairdressing products, nail polish remover, etc.).
(Doing so could cause explosion or fire.)
Do not drop or bump.
(Doing so could cause electric shock or fire.)
Always use the water supply tank to add water. Do not get water on the
unit or power switch.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks, burns or fire due to short circuit.)
Do not use with wet hands.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or fires due to short circuit.)
Do not use or store in bathrooms or other places where humidity is
high, and do not set in places where the product could get wet (on
washstands, etc.).
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or fire.)
Do not insert pins, wires or other metallic or foreign objects into the
steam outlet or obstruct the steam outlet.

Never disassemble, repair or modify the unit.
(Doing so could cause fire or injury due to malfunction.)
For repairs, contact an authorized service center (as described in the warranty).
After use, the appliance should be cleaned to avoid the accumulation of
grease and other residues.

In case of problems or malfunction
In case of problems or malfunction, stop using immediately and unplug
the power cord.
(Failure to do so could cause burns, shock or injury.)

Do not use in ways exceeding the ratings of the power outlet or

(Exceeding ratings due to connection of multiple devices to the same power
outlet could cause fire due to overheating.)
Do not connect or disconnect the power plug or appliance plug from
the power outlet or main unit with wet hands.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or injury.)
Do not wind the power cord around the main unit when putting it away.
(Doing so could place an excessive load on the power cord, damaging it and
leading to shocks, fire due to short circuit, etc.)
Always use with an AC 220V power supply.
Insert the power plug and appliance plug securely and all the way in.
(Failure to do so could cause fire or electric shocks.)
Keep dust off the power plug and connection plug by cleaning them
regularly. (Humidity, etc., could cause faulty insulation, leading to fire.)
Unplug the power plug and wipe off the power cord with a dry cloth.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent, or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Aroma tablets
Store out of the reach of children, and do not let children use the product.

Power cord
When disconnecting the power plug or appliance plug, always do so
while holding the power plug or appliance plug. Do not pull on the cord.
(Doing so could place an excessive load on the power cord, damaging it and
leading to burns, electric shocks, fire due to short circuit, etc.)
When not using, turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the
power outlet.
(Failure to do so could lead to electric shocks, electric leaks or fire due to
deteriorated insulation.)
Also be careful of the following:
Do not put anything other than distilled water or purified water into the
water supply tank.
Never put your face or anything else within 20 cm of the edge of the lid.
When using steam, do not wipe off the water droplets that may get on
the aroma tablet or aroma holder.
Do not put your hands, face, etc. too close to the steam outlet, as invisible
steam continues to be emitted for about 1 minute after the power is turned off.
Do not touch the steam at the following times:
When operating the power switch
When opening and closing the lid
(Doing so could cause burns.)
Do not close the lid when using steam.
(The hot steam will escape from around the lid and could cause burns.)
Do not move the main unit or insert/remove the water supply tank while
using steam and for 10minutes afterwards.
(Large amounts of steam may escape from the steam outlet and the hot
water could be spilled, causing burns.)
When using, place the unit on a flat surface. Do not hold it in your hands.
(Doing so could cause accidents or injury.)
Do not shake the unit with water inside other than when cleaning.
(Droplets of hot water could escape from the steam outlet, causing burns.)
Do not insert or remove aroma tablets during use.
(Doing so could cause burns.)
Do not use aroma tablets in rooms where small animals are present.
(They may adversely affect the animals.)
When draining after using, hold the unit in such a way as to keep the hot
water from getting on your hands.
The water in the water supply tank is hot after using the unit. Be careful.
(Failure to do so could cause burns.)
Be sure to set the aroma tablets in the aroma holder when using them.
(Failure to do so could cause burns.)

When using a cleanser of the type used without applying water to your hands
or face, use a tissue, etc., to wipe off the moisture before cleansing.
The cleanser or makeup may be hard to remove, depending on the type used.
Do not operate the main unit or add water with cleanser on your hands.
Do not leave any traces of cleanser or makeup on the main unit.
Doing so could mar the plastic, causing discoloration or cracks.

Heed the following to protect your skin:
Excessive steam care is not good for your skin. When first starting, use
the steamer about once a day for two or three days a week, then after
about a month use it about once daily. Adjust the number of uses and
the usage time according to the condition of your skin.
If problems arise with your skin while using the steam, stop using it and
consult a physician.
After steam care, apply your regular basic skin-care products to trap the
moisture in your skin.

What water can be used?
Use only distilled water or purified water.
Since the service life of the appliance may be shortened depending on water
quality, the use of distilled water or purified water is recommended. Distilled
water and purified water are usually available at supermarkets, etc.
Do not use the following types of water :
Mineral water, ground water, geothermal water, ionized alkaline water,
physiological saline, slightly acidic water.
Using these type of water may cause shorten life of the main unit.
Do not mix with anything.
Do not mix the water with any other substance, such as lotion, aromatic oil, etc.
Doing so may cause burns, malfunctions, or shorten the life of the main unit.
What aroma tablets can be used?
Panasonic aroma tablets (package of four)
Genuine lavender: (EH-4S11)
The refreshing floral scent of lavender
Bergamot: (EH-4S12)
The crisp and invigorating scent of citrus
Geranium: (EH-4S13)
A faint rose-like scent based on a sweet mint
The product numbers indicated here are as of August 2015.
Please note that they are subject to change without notice.
Because the aroma tablets use natural essential oils, there may be slight
differences in scent and color, but these do not affect quality.
Only use the designated aroma tablets. Using other tablets may damage the
steamer.
When you use aroma tablets
Enjoy the scent of the aroma while using the steamer.
Be sure to use only Panasonic aroma tablets. (P. EN8)
The aroma tablets are expendables.
Actual aroma varies depending on personal taste and the environment
where it is used.
Replace them when the scent changes or weakens. (P. EN8)

Thoroughly ventilate the room after using the aroma tablet.
Use the aroma tablets by the date indicated on their storage pouch.
• The usage date indicated is for when the pouch is closed.
• After opening, use the tablets as quickly as possible.
When not using, store in the storage pouch.
To enjoy the scent as long as possible, place the tablets in the storage
pouch, remove as much air as possible from the pouch and close the zipper
securely before storing.
Store in a cool, dark place, avoiding places exposed to flames or direct
sunlight and hot or humid environments. (These may change the tablet’s
scent.)
Some of the aroma material may adhere to the tablet.
1. Place the main unit on a flat, level surface.
Set it in a place not affected by the wind from an air-conditioner, etc.
2. Remove the water supply tank from
the main unit.
3. Fill the water supply tank with water.
# Turn and open the water supply cap.
$ Fill the water supply tank with water.
• Thorough moisture replenishing:
12 (water tank full, steam for about 12minutes)
• Easy moisture replenishing:
6 (steam for about 6minutes)
• Deep cleansing:
3 (steam for about 3minutes)
% Close the water supply cap.
& Wipe away any water on the surface of the
water supply tank.
4. Attach the water supply tank to the main unit.
Push the water supply tank into the main unit until it clicks.
When the water supply tank is set, water is supplied to the interior and
the level of water in the tank lowers.
Water may leak from the water drain port if the water supply tank is set
and removed repeatedly.

How to Use the Steamer
1. Insert the appliance plug into the main unit.
2. Plug in the power plug into the power outlet (220 V).
3. Open the lid all the way to the top.
When not using the , skip to step 5.
4. Set the aroma tablet in the aroma holder.
Grasp the aroma tablet’s grip and set
in the direction of the arrow on the
diagram.
Place it in the aroma holder so that it
will not come loose.
Set it in so that it lines up with the
marks.

With the aroma tablet, the strength of the scent can
be selected according to whether the tablet is set with
the front or back facing up.
For a stronger aroma, set it in the aroma holder with
the front side facing upward.
Stop using the aroma tablet if its scent make you feel
queasy or you should sense something wrong.

5. Slide the power switch upwards to
turn on the appliance.
The steam is released after about 1 minute.
The hissing sound is due to electrical discharge.
The sound may be intermittent, depending on how
the steam is produced.
6. Use with your face at least 20cm from
the tip of the lid.
If you cannot judge the distance, use the distance guide below.
To apply steam to your entire face, point at just above the chin.
If you have trouble adjusting the position of the steam on your face, try
adjusting the height of the table, chair or cushion.
When the remaining water is low, the way that the steam is emitted changes.
7. After using, switch the power to OFF.
After steam care, apply your regular basic skin-care products
to trap the moisture in your skin.
After Use
1. With the power turned off, let the steamer cool down
for at least 10minutes.
Do not move the main unit.
2. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and
the appliance plug from the main unit.
Bundle up the power cord for storage. Do not wrap it around the steamer.
When not using the , skip to step 5.
Note
If there are water droplets on the front main body, wipe them off with a
tissue or the like.
Failure to do so may cause discoloration.
3. Remove the aroma tablet and wipe off any water
droplets with a tissue.
Steam within this range is hot. Be careful not to get burned.

4. Place the aroma tablet in the storage
pouch and close the zipper securely.
Remove as much air as possible.
5. Close the lid and remove the water
supply tank from the main unit.
Remove the tank in a water-safe location
as water droplets may drip from the tank.
6. Discard the water in the water
supply tank.
Wipe away any water on the surface of
the water supply tank.
Note
After using the steamer, be sure to throw
out the water remaining in the water
supply tank and in the steamer.
If not, water droplets may get mixed in with the
steam, limescale may form and unpleasant odors
may be produced.
7. Discard the water in the main unit.
While pressing the inclination switch, drain the water from the water outlet
along the arrow.
Even after draining the water, some water remains in the appliance.
This does not cause any sanitary problems since the water is boiled when
used the next time.
8. Attach the water supply tank to the main unit.
Push the water supply tank into the main unit until it clicks.
9. Use a towel, etc., to wipe any water droplets off the
main unit, then store the main unit in a dry place.
When not planning to use it for a long period of time (several weeks or
more), dry the steamer off thoroughly before storing it.

Note
Disconnect the power cord from the steamer before cleaning.

Cleaning inside the main unit
(Clean once a month.)
To remove limescale and prevent it from forming,
clean the inside of the steamer using the procedure below.
After using, always let the main unit cool down for
at least 10minutes.
1. Pour water into the tank up to the 12mark
(full) and close the water supply cap.
2. Attach the water supply tank to
the main unit.
Push the water supply tank into the main unit
until it clicks.
3. Shake the appliance horizontally
3 to 4 times.
Shake the appliance gently without tilting it.
4. Remove the water supply
tank from the main unit.
5. While pressing the
inclination switch on the
bottom, discard the water
from inside the main unit.
Set the steamer back to the horizontal,
then repeat this 2 or 3 times.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 (within ) 2 or 3 times.
7. Throw out the water in the water supply tank, then
use a towel, etc., to wipe any water droplets off the
main unit and water supply tank.

Wipe the appliance with a cloth moistened with soapy
water.
Never use alcohol, thinner, benzine, enamel remover, etc.
Doing so may result in malfunction or part cracks or discoloration.

Remove the power plug from the power
outlet and the appliance plug from the
main unit, and then wipe away any dust,
etc., using a dry cloth.

1. Push up the center of the water
supply cap.
Use your index finger to press on the center of
the water supply cap.
2. Line up the angle of the water
supply cap with that of the
water supply cap’s packing
and press the packing in.
If the lid is off
Line up the hooks in the lid with
the grooves in the steamer’s hook
receiver and press in.
Press down on both sides at the same
time from straight above.

Before Requesting Repair
Before calling a service supplier, please check the following possible
causes.
No steam is
produced even about
1minute or more
after the power
switch is set to ON.
The power plug or
appliance plug is not
plugged all the way in.
Plug the power plug and
appliance plug securely all
the way in.
There is no water in the
water supply tank.
Let the steamer cool down
for at least 10minutes, then
supply water. (P. EN9)
The steamer is not on a level
surface. The steamer is tilted.
Place the steamer on a
desk or other flat surface.
The lid is off. Attach the lid. (P. EN14)
The way the steam is
emitted fluctuates.
The way the steam is
emitted is not constant and
may fluctuate somewhat,
but this is not a problem.
The steamer is being
affected by the wind from
an air-conditioner, etc.
Move the steamer to a
place where it will not be
affected.
The steam has
stopped.
There is no more water in
the water supply tank.
Let the steamer cool down
for at least 10minutes, then
