1.0 Warranty conditions
The five-year Eminent warranty applies for all Eminent products unless mentioned
otherwise before or during the moment of purchase. When having bought a second-
hand Eminent product the remaining period of warranty is measured from the moment
of purchase by the product’s first owner.
The Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent products and parts indissolubly
connected to and/or mounted on the main product. Power supply adapters, batteries,
antennas and all other products not integrated in or directly connected to the main
product and/or products of which, without reasonable doubt, can be assumed that
wear and tear show a different pattern than the main product are not covered by the
Eminent warranty. Products are not covered by the Eminent warranty when exposed
to incorrect/improper use, external influences and/or when opened by parties other
than Eminent.

has undergone extensive testing by Eminent’s technical experts. Should you
experience any problems with this product, you are covered by a five-year Eminent
warranty. Please keep this manual and the receipt in a safe place.

2.1 Functions and features
Enjoy optimal computer control with the Eminent EM3180 Bluetooth mouse. Due to
the Bluetooth function this mouse is the perfect solution for home use and office
applications. Also this compact mouse simply fits in your laptop bag. The Bluetooth
function is ideal to combine with the most laptops which have a build-in Bluetooth
function.
• Bluetooth mouse with scroll wheel.
• Automatic power management functions to conserve the battery power. The
mouse goes into ‘Saving Mode’ after 30 seconds of inactivity and down to ‘Sleep
Mode’ after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press one of the mouse buttons to wake it up
while in ‘Sleep Mode’.
• Beautiful compact design for as well left- and right-handed users.
2.2 Package contents

• Two AA-batteries.
• User manual.
• Carrying bag
3.0 Install the mouse
3.1 Place the batteries
1. Pull the battery cover backward.
2. Insert the batteries as shown on image one in the compartment.
3. Close the cover.

3.2 Connect the mouse with Windows
1. Turn on the Bluetooth connection on your computer.
2. Switch on the mouse by switching the button on the backside of the mouse
(image 2).
3. Click Start menu, click Control Panel and double click ‘Bluetooth Devices’.
4. On the ‘Devices’ tab, click ‘Add’.
5. Select the ‘My device is set up and ready to be found’ check box, and then click
‘Next’.
6. Click on ‘Next’.
7. Press the connection button of the mouse (Image 2).
8. The mouse will be found and will be displayed in the window as a ‘Bluetooth
Mouse’. Click on it and then click ‘Next’.
9. Click ‘Don’t use a passkey’, and then click ‘Next’.
10. The mouse is now connected and can be used.

3.3 Connect the mouse with Apple Mac
1. Turn on the Bluetooth connection on your Apple Mac computer.

2. Switch on the mouse by switching the button on the backside of the mouse
(image 2).
3. Click in the top right of your screen on the Bluetooth icon.
4. Choose ‘Configure Bluetooth device’.
5. Click on ‘Proceed’.
6. Choose ‘Mouse’.
7. Click on ‘Proceed’.
8. Press the connection button of the mouse (Image 2).
9. The mouse will be found, click on ‘Proceed’.
10. The mouse is now connected and can be used.
4.0 Frequently asked questions
Q. My mouse hampers or suddenly stops working.
A. Check the batteries. They are probably empty. The surface you are working on is
important while using an optical mouse. Make sure you are not using it on glass
for instance.
Q. The mouse reacts poorly or does not react at all.
A. It could be that the distance between the mouse and the receiver is too great or
there could be interference caused by other electronic devices or metal objects.
Q. The mouse indicator is very sensitive and I am using Windows.
A. This can be set in the Control Panel, go to ‘Mouse’ and choose the tab ‘options
for the mouse indicator’.
At ‘Select a speed for the mouse indicator’ you can set the indicator slower.
Q. The mouse indicator is very sensitive and I am using Apple Mac.
A. Click on the Bluetooth icon at the top right of your screen. Choose ‘Bluetooth
Mouse’. At ‘Speed indicator’ you can slow down the indicator. The configuration
is active instantly.
Q. How do I disconnect the mouse?
A. For the Windows computer you click on the Bluetooth icon at the bottom right of
you screen. Choose ‘Bluetooth devices’. The mouse will be displayed, click it and
select ‘Remove’.
A. For the Apple Mac you click on the Bluetooth icon at the top right of your screen.
You can remove it here also.
Q. At what distance can I use this mouse?
A. The mouse is a ‘Bluetooth Class 2’ device, meaning that a connection is possible
up to 10 meters.
