Camera Installation
Camera installation using self- tapping screws
• Self-tapping screws may only used if the steel
panels are of a minimum thickness of 1.5mm.
• Attach the camera holder a the chosen location.
• Mark at least two different points for the drill holes.
• Pre-punch the marked points
• Drill 4.5mm holes at the marked points.
• Deburr all drilled holes.
• Greasi the threads of the bolts, to protect
against rust.
• Secure the camera bracket using 5x20mm
self-tapping screws.
Camera installation using threaded screws
• Drill holes with a 4.2mm diameter bit at the
previously-marked points.
• Deburr all drilled holes.
• Greaseing all drilled holes to, prevent corrosion.
• Screw the camera bracket on with the
M5x20mm threaded screws.
• Depending on the thickness of the construction,
longer threaded screws may be needed.
• Ensure that the nuts cannot be pulled through
the body shell when tightened, if necessary
use larger washers or metal plates.
• Drill the through hole for the camera connection
cable
• Drill a 13mm diameter hole near the camera.
• Deburr the drilled hole.
• Grease the drill hole to, prevent corrosion.
• Use cable sleeves in all sharp edged ducts.
