Technical Information
The camera is built inside aluminium housing
The camera transmits images and sounds via a connection cable to a monitor.
The camera transmits images to the monitor that are the same as the rear view
in the driver mirror.
The LEDs improve night vision.

Warning:
If installation of the camera alters the vehicle‘s height or length, the vehicle must be
inspected by the appropriate authorities.
When installing the camera, it must be secured so that it cannot, under any
circumstances, fall off and injure bystanders.

Installation instructions
The camera must be attached at a height of at least 2m to provide a suitable viewing
angle.
Check that the place the camera is mounted ensures the camera bracket is sufficiently
firm.
Mount the camera in the middle of the rear of the vehicle, in a horizontal position.
The most secure type of attachment is by means of screws through the body. Please
observe the following:
Sufficient space must be left for mounting behind the body and for the drill head to come
out on the other side.
Suitable measures must be taken to prevent water penetration through any holes made
(e.g. using screw and sealant, using spray for outer )
Mount the camera in a horizontal position in the middle of the rear of the vehicle

Camera Installation
Camera installation using self- tapping screws
Self-tapping screws may only used if the steel
panels are of a minimum thickness of 1.5mm.
Attach the camera holder a the chosen location.
Mark at least two different points for the drill holes.
Pre-punch the marked points
Drill 4.5mm holes at the marked points.
Deburr all drilled holes.
Greasi the threads of the bolts, to protect
against rust.
Secure the camera bracket using 5x20mm
self-tapping screws.
Camera installation using threaded screws
Drill holes with a 4.2mm diameter bit at the
previously-marked points.
Deburr all drilled holes.
Greaseing all drilled holes to, prevent corrosion.
Screw the camera bracket on with the
M5x20mm threaded screws.
Depending on the thickness of the construction,
longer threaded screws may be needed.
Ensure that the nuts cannot be pulled through
the body shell when tightened, if necessary
use larger washers or metal plates.
Drill the through hole for the camera connection
cable
Drill a 13mm diameter hole near the camera.
Deburr the drilled hole.
Grease the drill hole to, prevent corrosion.
Use cable sleeves in all sharp edged ducts.

Camera Installation
Camera assembly
Push the camera into the camera bracket.
Fasten and center the camera and camera guardusing four M3x8mm screws in the
slots in bracket (A).
Align the camera so that the lens is at an angle of approx. 50°to the perpendicular
axis of the vehicle (B).
Push the camera side caps over the camera side that the central drill holes slide over both
screws heads and the slots are aligned with those of the camera bracket(C ).
Secure camera side caps with two M4x8mm screws in the holes.
Tighten all screws after the camera has beenis aligned, checking the functioning and
setting of the camera, if necessary using a monitor connection.
Never mount the camera without the camera guard and side caps.
Camera connection
Guide the camera cable into the vehicle interior.
Insert the camera cable plug into the extension cable socket.
Apply a little grease to the plug to, prevent corrosion.
The Pplug connection should be easily accessiable easily, for dismantling work.
Checking the camera’s functioning and setting
Check the functioning of the camera after the monitor ihas beens connected.
Align the camera using the image on the monitor showing the rear or number plate of
the vehicle at the bottom of the screen, and the middle of the number plate should be in
the middle of the screen.
Tighten all of the camera bracket’s fastening screws.
The camera’s other settings can be made on the monitor.
