3. Scan “Set Receiver’s ADD” Barcode WITHIN 5 seconds.

5. Repeat step 2 to 3 for the remaining unpaired scanners.

- You can connect maximum of 16 scanners with one receiver simultaneously.
Set Scanner ID
To avoid confusion when using multiple scanners, you can assign a unique ID
for each scanner. Scanner ID consists of up to 3 digits (0 – 9). The scanner ID
will appear as prefix before each scan result.
2.Set the scanner ID by scan a combination of up to 3 digits from the following
barcodes. You can set a single digit, two digits or 3 digits scanner ID. For example,
if you want to set the scanner with ID “68”, then please scan “6” and then “8”
successively.

3. Once you have scanned the scanner ID, please scanner the “Show Scanner
ID” barcode to enable the scanner ID.

3.Now the scanner will be automatically powered off in the time you set.
4. Now your scanner will automatically adds the scanner ID as prefix to all scan
results. To disable the scanner ID, you can scan the “Hide Scanner ID” barcode

Inventory Mode Setting Steps
To use the scanner in inventory mode you must first pair the scanner with at least one
receiver. To do that, please follow the previous instructions on pairing a single scanner
with a single receiver.
Once the scanner is successfully paired with a receiver, there are 2 ways to get into
inventory mode. You can use either method.

• Method 2
Press and hold the trigger until you see the red LED start flashing, then release the trigger.
The LED light will turn into solid blue, which means the scanner is in inventory mode.
Once the scanner is in inventory mode, all scanned barcode will be saved to scanner’s
internal memory.
• Method 1 (recommended)
Simply scan the “Inventory Mode” bar code to enter into inventory mode. The LED will
turn to solid BLUE.
Notes:
• In normal mode, if three consecutive data uploading failure occur, the scanner will
switch into Inventory Mode automatically.
• In inventory mode, for each successful scan, the scanner will make 2 “Di” sound
(only 1 in normal mode)
• When using the 2nd method to get into inventory mode, it is possible to accidentally
set the scanner to enter deep sleep mode if you keep holding the trigger for too long.
(Please see Page 14 to check Deep sleep mode)
It is important to set frequency channel for each receiver to avoid signal interference. We
recommend set frequency channel for each scanner if you have more than 2 receivers
working in inventory mode in the same area.
1.To set the frequency channel for the first receiver, take the scanner that is paired to the
receiver and scan “Set Frequency channel” bar code.

3. The receiver is now set to the frequency channel you have scanned
4. If you have more than 1 scanner paired to this receiver, please use each
scanner (exclude the one you have just used) to scan the match ADD barcode
5. Repeat step 1 – 4 for every receiver in use in the same area
Once you have finished scanning, you can upload saved data to a computer
3.If you wish to scan all barcodes saved in the scanner, please scan the “upload all data”
barcode
4. If you wish to clear all saved barcode, you can scan the “Clear all data” barcode
5.You can scan the data count barcode to know how many barcode is saved in the scanner
In order to get back to normal mode from inventory mode, there are 2 methods as well.
Please choose either one of the following 2 methods:
• Simply scan the “Inventory Mode” bar code. The LED will turn to solid red.
• Press and hold the trigger for 8 seconds without letting go until the LED light turns into
red, which means the scanner is already in normal mode.

Deep Sleep Mode
• Press and hold the trigger for 11 seconds or more will cause the scanner to enter deep
sleep mode. During deep sleep mode, scanner will not respond to single trigger press
• To exit deep sleep mode, press and hold the trigger for 3 seconds to wake up the
scanner
