Quick Installation of JC200 Dash Cam

Step 1 - Select T-Mobile 3G GSM SIM card

Please go to a T-Mobile store and purchase a 3G GSM SIM card that

covers with data, texts services. If you're streaming live video

very often, videos can consume significant amounts of data. I would

suggest you to get an unlimited data plan for JC200 dash cam. So

you can watch live video without worries.

****If you want to use SIM card from other carriers, please ask the

carrier to see if the SIM card fits with our JC200 device.

****Warm tip: the Verizon，Sprint are not work with our JC200 device

now.

Step 2 – Install the SIM card & TF Card in JC200 Device

a. SIM card must be activated before inserted.

b. SIM card is still in service and has adequate data, texts and voice

minutes.

c. Install the SIM card (Micro size) and TF card (64GB Max) into JC200

device.

Step 3 – Install the JC200 Device in Your Car

Step 4 –Power on JC200 Device

Once the ACC is on, the JC200 will turn on. The red light will turn

solid. Once the network connected, the blue and green light will

turn solid. If they are not, please contact us to help you solve

the problems.

Step 5 –Download the APP

a. You can download the “Car-Matrix” platform software from Google

play or APP store,

b. Scan the QR code to download

c. Log into your JC200 device at website: www.car-matrix.com

Step 6 – Create an Account and Login

a. Use your email to create an account on “Car-Matrix”

b. Your login verification will be emailed to you.

Step 7 - Add JC200 Device into APP

Log into your account, and add the JC200 device by scanning the QR

code that printed on the device or on the package to recognize the

IMEI number. Then you can use your tracker device now.

Troubleshooting

1. What SIM card is required for JC200 Device?

Please go to a T-Mobile store and purchase a 3G GSM SIM card that

covers with data, texts and voice services. If you're streaming live

video very often, videos can consume significant amounts of data.

So I would suggest you to get an unlimited data plan for JC200 dash

cam.

2. Why does the GPS device remain inactive on the Car-Matrix?

To active the JC200 device, please do the following to make it works.

a. Check power: Please make sure that the JC200 device is installed

in your vehicles. You can check the power status from the indicator

lights.

b. Check SIM Card: Insert an active 2G/3G GSM SIM card that covers

with adequate network, SMS, and voice call service. Very important:

the SIM card must be activated before inserted. Also, make sure that

the SIM card is inserted correctly.

c. Check SIM card carrier, please ask your carrier to see if the

SIM card you brought from them is fit with the JC200 device.

d. Please place the device in a good signal reception area.

3. How does the Wifi hotspot works?

Turn on the WiFi under the JC200 dash cam device in the setting of

"Media Center / Media Sync", and then go to your cell phone’s WiFi

setting, searching and finding the WiFi (IMEI number), and linking

it (password: the last eight digits of IMEI). The WiFi transmission

distance is within 5 meters, the closer you get to the WIFi hotspot,

the stronger signal and the better available reception you have.
