Subject: MicroAudio Programmable Equalizers
From about 1988 through approximately 1995 Altec Lansing sold programmable
signal processing products made by MicroAudio. The following pages are “road
maps” of the models sold under the Altec Lansing name.
You can visit www.microaudio.com
and buy programmers (hardware) for setting
up the products listed on the following pages. The 8553B could be programmed
using the dedicated MicroAudio programmer. In addition it had a PA422 interface
and could be programmed directly from a computer using a RS232-to-PA422
adapter.
Two models, 8431A and 8432A, were programmed only from a laptop computer.
They could be ordered with a PA422 or RS232 interface. The PA422 models
require PA422-to-RS232 adapters. I can supply the software for these units.
