Safety informaon
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precauons should
always be followed, including the following;
This appliance is intended for indoor, household use. Unintended
use or operaon may result in personal injury, damage to property
or damage to the appliance that will void the warranty.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision and/or instrucon concerning safe use of the
appliance and the understanding of hazards. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 years old and
supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years old.
Never handle or operate any appliance with wet or moist hands.
Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
Take care whilst cleaning.
If the appliance has fallen in water do not reach for it, immediately
switch the appliance o at the mains and unplug it.
Ensure that the cord is not in a posion where it can be pulled or
tripped over accidentally. Never use the cord to carry or pull the
appliance. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not use the appliance if it has malfunconed, been dropped or
damaged in anyway. If the unit has been damaged take the unit for
examinaon and/or repair by an authorised service agent.
Do not aempt to open the appliance, repair or modify the
appliance, use the appliance for unintended applicaons or use
accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
Failure to follow these instrucons may result in re, electrical
shock, or risk of injury to persons.

Do not place the appliance near a naked ame, hot gas or electric
burners, or any appliances generang heat.
Always remove the plug safely from the socket aer use. Do not
pull from the cord.
Ensure that all packaging is removed before use.
Appliance specic safety informaon
Cauon: Moving Parts. Do not touch any moving parts of the
appliance when in use.
Keep long hair, jewellery and loose clothing away from moving
parts.
Always allow the aachments to stop rotang before handling.
Immediately aer use, before changing accessories, cleaning or
transportaon, switch o, allow the mixing heads to stop. Unplug
the appliance and store in a safe place out of the reach of children.
Remove mixing, beang and whisking aachments before
aempng to wash them.
This appliance is intended for indoor, consumer use only.
Rated Run Time (RRT)
Warning: Do not exceed the Rated Run Time.
Electrical appliances intended for food preparation are designed with sealed
enclosures or with small openings in the enclosure to prevent contamination.
The lack of openings in the enclosure restricts airflow and increases the internal
operating temperatures. A Rated Run Time (RRT) is stated to prevent overheating
and potential damage.
The RRT marked on the rating label is 10 minutes but this will reduce when used
in heavy, dense mixtures.
Periods of continuous use should not exceed the RRT.
Allow the appliance to rest and cool down after each period of use.
Exceeding the Rated Run Time is an abusive condition where the appliance may
overheat indicated by an increased enclosure temperature and possible odour.
Switch off and allow the appliance to cool.

How to use
1. Set the speed control (3) to the < 0 > posion and ensure the plug is removed
from the power outlet.
2. Select the whisking (6), Mixing (7) or beang (8) aachment for the applicaon.
3. Insert the aachments one at a me into the drive locaons (5) on the
underside of the appliance main body.
4. Ensure the aachments are aligned and inserted into the correct locaon. Note
the Dough Hook with the collar must be inserted into the larger hole on the le
hand side of the base. See Fig.1 below.
5. Align the drive locaons and push the aachments rmly into place. Note: To
remove the aachments. Turn the speed control to O, wait for the
aachments to stop rotang and then press the EJECT buon.
6. Insert the mains plug into the socket, place the beaters into the ingredients
before switching on to minimise any splashes.
7. Turn the appliance on by selecng the required speed using the ON/OFF speed
control switch (3). To switch o, return the speed control to the o < 0 >
posion.
8. Pressing the Turbo switch (4) in speed controls 1 to 4 will operate the product at
maximum speed (5).
9. Please use slow speeds (1-2) to inially mix for around 30 seconds, then you can
change to higher speed sengs if required.

Warning. Do not immerse in liquid or expose the appliance, plug or the power cord
to water or any other liquid for any reason.
Switch the appliance o, allow the aachments to stop and remove the plug
from the mains outlet.
Separate the mixer aachments from the appliance.
The mixer aachments should only be cleaned with hot soapy water, rinsed and
dried.
The mixer body and the power cord can be cleaned with a damp cloth, ensure
no liquid enters the venlaon slots.. Any dirt or marks which are hard to
remove can be cleaned using a weak detergent.
Please ensure that the appliance is completely dry before aempng to use the
appliance again aer cleaning.
The hand mixer and the aachments are not dishwasher safe.

UK and EU warranty
Your new Andrew James product comes with a 24 month guarantee and a 2 year
xed warranty, eecve from receipt conrmaon. Your receipt or order number is
required as proof of purchase date so it is imperave that you keep it safe. This
guarantee only applies if the item has been used solely for the use intended, and all
instrucons have been followed accordingly. Please note this product is only for
domesc use only and is not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the original colour product box, and
presented with the original receipt of sale/order number. This does not aect your
statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and returned to us in as close to delivery
condion as possible.
If your product develops a problem within the rst 12 months of the xed warranty,
we will pay all shipping costs to have it returned to us. Aer 12 months the
customer will be liable for the cost of returning the product to us. We will then pay
to have the repaired/replaced item shipped back to the customer.

Customers are responsible for any taxes applied to our products when they are
shipped outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to us, we will aim to repair or replace it within 30
days of receipt.
The guarantee does not cover any defect arising from improper use, damage, build-
up of lime scale or repair aempts made by third-pares. Also, the guarantee does
not cover normal wear and tear of individual parts.
Class II electrical safety informaon
Always ensure the voltage on the rang label corresponds to the power supply
where the product is being used.
Class II double insulaon. This appliance is double insulated therefore no
earth connecon is required.
Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualied electrician or a service repair centre to
avoid a hazard.
Precauons should be followed for safe cable management and connecon to the
power supply.

If a new mains plug needs to be ed follow the ng instrucons supplied with
good quality BS1363A plugs. If in doubt consult a qualied electrician or appliance
repair agent.
a) Remove and safely dispose of the old plug.
b) Connect the brown lead to the live terminal “L” in the new plug.
c) Connect the blue lead to the neutral “N” terminal.
d) Recommended fuse: 3 A.
Warning! For double insulated product no connecon is made to the Earth
terminal.
Use of an extension cable is not recommended. If an extension cable is required, it
should be rated no less than 3A and be fully unwound before use to avoid
overheang. Do not connect mulple appliances to the extension cable

Disposal of the appliance

Local authories, retailers and collecon organisaons may provide for
separate collecon of electrical products, baeries and packaging.
