Step 2: Template
Step 3: Cutting Time
Please download the template from here
If you have Silhouette Cameo, the below setting works best for me
Depth 4
Force 33
Speed 3
Line Segment Overcut: ON.
If you do not have this machine, this can be done by hand as well
Cut the Unicorn template on black cardstock (200GSM)
You can change the name based on your choice

Step 4: Weeding Time
Carefully weed out all the unwanted pieces of black cardstock
Important: keep the eyes and nose for later

Step 5: Colorful Splash
Add colors of your choice to your Unicorn now.
Cut pieces of the Neon colors cardstock and stick it with tape/gluestick behind the black cardstock that
you just nished weeding.
I selected blue, pink, and green as it goes well with a standard Unicorn, but feel free to experiment and
run your imagination wild!
Black is a very forgiving color so all the edges of the neon paper get hidden away in the borders and are
not visible in the front even when the lights are on.

Note: Do not stick anything behind the body of the Unicorn and let it stay white. That adds the glow at the end to the
nightlight.

Step 6: Add Background
Stick the white background to this above piece completed.
Stick the nose and eyes at the positions specied below using a glue stick

Step 7: Assemble and Light Up!!
Put the above piece in a shadow box with a black frame.
Stick warm light to the back of the shadow box.
You can use any led lights (warm white) like fairy lights or LED light modules available on Amazon.
3 LED modules suce.
Make a small cut in the backing of the shadow frame for the wire to exit and close the frame back and
Light up.
Voilà!!! Your Unicorn Nightlight is ready to shine!
