While primarily designed for Razer keyboards, the Razer PBT Keycaps will ﬁt most mechanical keyboards that

use a cross-shaped axis switch. The Razer PBT Keycap Upgrade Set contains a comprehensive set of keys th

at include both US and UK layouts. It also comes with two sets of bottom row keycaps — one for standard botto

m row keycaps, and one speciﬁcally designed to ﬁt the bottom row of Razer keyboards. The Razer bottom row

keycaps have smaller Fn, Window, and Menu keycaps than the standard set. You may use the set that ﬁts your

present keyboard.

How do I replace the keycaps of my keyboard?

For Optical keyboards:

1. Using the included keycap puller, gently remove the keycap from your keyboard.

2. The larger keycaps, such as the Shift and Enter keys will require stabilizers for a more stable typing experien

ce. Insert the optical keyboard stabilizers into the stems located on the backside of the keycaps.

3. Firmly push the Razer PBT keycap in place on your keyboard.

For mechanical keyboards:

1. Using the included keycap puller, gently remove the keycap from your keyboard.

For larger keys, use a ﬂat head screwdriver (not included) to lift the keycap and nudge any of the curved end

s of the attached stabilizer bar outwards.

Note: For easier removal and/or installation, remove surrounding keycaps as you did in Step 1.

If you want to replace an existing stabilizer bar, hold its curved ends and pull outwards until they detach from

the stabilizers. To attach its replacement, hold and align the stabilizer bar to the keyboard’s stabilizers and p

ush until it snaps into place.

2. Insert the required mechanical keyboard stabilizers into the stems behind the larger keycaps.

To install the Razer PBT keycap into the stabilizer bar, insert one end of the bar into the stabilizer and use a f

lat head screwdriver to nudge and hook the other end into the stabilizer.

3. Firmly push the Razer PBT keycap in place.

How are the Razer PBT Keycaps an upgrade to my existing keys?

The Razer PBT keycaps are made of Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), the hardest material used in keyboards

. PBT keycaps will not wear and develop a shiny surface over time, even after years of use. To achieve this dura

bility, we developed our own method of precision double-shot molding, which also allowed us to produce our sig

nature Razer font, the thinnest font seen in PBT keycaps.

The Razer PBT Keycaps Upgrade Set also comes with stabilizers that should improve your typing experience si

gniﬁcantly.

The set will include a keycap puller, 120 keycaps that include both 104/105 US and UK layouts, and stabilizers t

hat will ﬁt both mechanical and optical keyboards.

The Razer PBT keycaps are more durable than regular keys and will require minimal to no maintenance.

PBT stands for Polybutylene terephthalate, a type of hard plastic that is formulated to be stronger and more resi

lient against heat and chemicals than Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), which is the standard material use

The PBT material found on the Razer PBT Keycaps Upgrade Set will not develop a shiny surface due to wear a

nd tear of typing and will retain its surface texture even after years of use.
