Directions:!!
A.!Types!of!parts:!Clean'N'Dip!is!designed!for!metal!parts.!It!should!not!be!used!on!most!plastics,!although!it!
will!not!affect!nylon/plastic!found!on!most!tip!guards,!tips,!and!filters.!Do!NOT!use!on!rubber!parts.!Some!
rubber!“O'rings”!can!be!affected!by !Clean'N 'Dip,!although!it!will!not!affect!Teflon,!Neoprene,!Buna!n!or!Viton.!!!
B.!Types!of!coatings!removed:!Clean'N'Dip!can!remove!most!common!household!paints!and!varnishes!which!
are!water'based!and!oil'based!including!latex,!alkyds,!stains,!enamels,!lacquers,!and!clear!paints,!as!well!as!
most!difficult!coatings!such!as!epoxy.!
C.!Equipment:!Clean'N'Dip!should!be!used!in!this!container!or!one!made!of!HDPE!plastic,!steel,!or!stainless!
steel.!The!included!parts!basket!is!helpful!in!removing!paint!from!the!stripping!solution.!The !paint!rem o ved!
from!your!par ts!will!settle!in!the!botto m!of!the!bucket!for !disp o sa l. !
D.!Instructions:!In!a!clean!5!gallon!pail,!add!1!gallon!of!Clea n'N'Dip!to!2!gallons!of!water.!Stir!thoroughly!with!
mixing!stick!or!paddle!before!every!use.!Drop!parts!to!be!cleaned!in!the!Clean'N'Dip!solution.!Time!of!the!
stripping!will!depend!on!the!type!of!paint!being!removed,!the!number!of!layers!of!material,!and!the!
temperature!of!the!paint!remo ver.!Stripp ing!tim e!m ay!va ry!from !min utes !to!overn ight!dep end ing!on !the!type !
and!build!up!of!paint!and!temperature!of!the!liquid.!To!determine!if!the!items!have!been!stripped,!use!a!
chemical!resistant!rubber!glove!to!periodically!lift!the!parts!bucket!out!of!the!container.!In!many!cases!the!paint!
will!separate!from!the!parts!and!be!collected!in!the!bottom!of!the!pail.!In!other!cases!it!will!be!necessary!to!
remove!loosened!paint!with!a!w ire!brush ,!stiff!bristle!brush,!or!scrub!pad.!Th is!can!be!don e!over!the !dipping!
container!or!over!a!separate!container.!Final!clean!up!or!removal!of!any!residual!paint!can!be!accomplished!
using!compressed!air!or!a!water!wash.!Keep!container!sealed!when!not!in!use!to!minimize!evaporation.!Dispose!
of!in!accordance!with!local,!state,!and!federal!regulations.!
Reusing!Clean4N4Dip:!!Clean'N'Dip!is!a!slow!evaporating!product!and!will!not!be!contaminated!by!paint!and!
may!be!reused.!
CAUTIONS:!CONTAINS!BENZYL!ALCOHOL.!Do!not!transfer!to!unlabeled!containers.!May!cause!eye!
and!skin!irritation!on!contact.!
