IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
It is recommended that this appliance is installed by a qualified
electrical engineer. The manufacturer is not responsible for any
damage caused by incorrect installation.
Check whether there is any damage to the appliance after you have
unpacked it. If any damage is found, do not use the appliance and
contact the store where you purchased it.
This appliance is for Indoor Domestic Use only.
For disconnection from the mains supply you must have a switch with
a contact separation of at least 3.0 mm in all poles and suitably rated
that provides full disconnection, this must be incorporated in the fixed
wiring in accordance with the local wiring rules.
If your mains cable gets damaged, it should be replaced by an
authorized service agent or qualified electrician in order to avoid a
hazard.
Only operate your appliance in a dry atmosphere.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off at the mains supply switch
and allowed it to completely cool down before cleaning, replacing the
oven lamp or performing any maintenance to avoid the possibility of
an electric shock.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

During use the appliance becomes hot. Care should be taken to avoid
touching the heating elements inside the oven.
The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Young
children should be kept away.
Danger of fire: Do not store items in the oven other than the
accessories supplied.
When the oven is hot never touch the oven glass or any other parts
that get hot. Allow the oven to cool before touching these parts.
Do not use harsh abrasives cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean
the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which may
result in the glass shattering.
Before starting to use your appliance, keep curtains, tulle, paper
or flammable materials away from your appliance. Do not keep
combustible or flammable things in or on the appliance.
This appliance is for cooking purposes only. It must not be used for
other purposes, for example room heating.
Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the appliance.
Do not rest any items on or stand on the open door.
Take care when handling parts with glass, knocks, chips, heavy
handling and dropping could cause the glass to shatter.
The glass oven door uses toughened glass and is designed to break
into many ‘nugget’ size pieces if it breaks. These pieces will still have
sharp edges, please handle broken glass with care.
Only use the meat probe recommended for this oven.

Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so
according to local regulations.

Before using your new oven
Remove all protective film and packaging that may be in your oven.
Use a damp cloth to wipe the oven cavity.
Clean all of the baking trays, wire racks and any other accessories in warm soapy water.
Inserting the baking trays / wire racks
1. Slide the wire rack guides out.
Your oven has 3 sliding wire rack guides
and 1 static wire rack guide in position 1.
The guides are numbered 1 to 4 this is to
help you place your food on the correct
shelf when using the pre-programmed
cooking feature.
2. Place an oven tray or wire rack onto
the sliding wire rack guides. Make
sure you position the rack or tray
between the wire rack guide end
stops, otherwise the shelf could slip
off the guide.
Using the grill pan handle
Slide the grill pan handle onto the lip
of the grill tray. Make sure it is firmly
connected and centred before lifting the
tray.
Do not grease the
telescopic guides.

Turning your oven on and into standby
1. Touch the control to switch
the oven on. If you do not touch
any of the controls the oven will
automatically switch back into
standby after 2 minutes.
2. Touch the control again to switch
the oven off.
The clock will be displayed in both
modes (on and standby).
Setting the clock
The clock on your oven is a 24 hour clock.
1. Touch the control to switch the
oven on.
2. Touch the time/clock display. The
display will start to flash.
3. Touch the + or - controls to set the
time. If you touch and hold the + or -
controls the time will change quickly
then 10 mins at a time.
4. Touch the time/clock display again.
The clock is now set.

All of the heating elements will need to
be heated up for 10-15 minutes at a high
temperature.
2. Touch the cooking mode control and
select the following modes:
Using your oven for the first time
Before you start to use your oven its recommended you first heat it up to check its working properly
and to remove any protective substances left on the heating elements and interior metal. The elements
and interior metals are coated to protect them from corrosion when the oven leaves the factory.
Make sure your room is well ventilated, you may wish to open a window or turn on your
cooker hood if you have one.
You may see and smell a little smoke, don’t be alarmed this is normal the first time you
heat up your oven. The smell should only last around 10-15 minutes.
If you notice a smell the next time you use the oven you probably didn’t manage to remove
all the protective coating. This will not harm you or the oven.
1. Touch the control to switch the
oven on.
240˚C for 10-15 mins 200˚C for 10-15 mins
3. Touch START/STOP and let the oven
heat up for 10-15 minutes.
Make sure you heat up in both the
modes shown. Then touch the control
to switch the oven off.

Basic fan oven cooking
As most customers are used to cooking with a fan oven we recommend you try this option first to get
used to using your oven before trying out its more advanced features. This will help you get used to the
controls and give you confidence to enjoy your oven.
1. Touch the control to switch the
oven on.
2. Touch the cooking mode control
to select the fan option. The
temperature is automatically set to
160˚C.
3. Touch the temperature display, the
+/- controls will light. You can now
touch the +/- controls to adjust
the temperature. The oven will
beep when it reaches your desired
temperature.
Place your food in the oven.
4. Touch the START/STOP control to
start cooking.
Once cooking is complete, touch the
control to switch the oven off.

Operating modes
Your oven has 3 different operating modes:
Program mode
Touch the control and your oven will switch on and is in program mode. In this mode all settings are
reset, you can touch all of the controls to set how you desire to use your oven. If you touch while the
oven is operating/cooking all settings will be reset.
Cooking mode
When you have selected how you would like your oven to cook, touch the START/STOP control. The
oven will now start and is in cooking mode.
Pause/adjust mode
While the oven is operating/cooking touch the START/STOP control. Your oven will now pause
operating/cooking and the START/STOP control will flash. All of the cooking settings will remain
programmed, you can now adjust the cooking settings e.g. the temperature. This is ideal for making
small adjustments to your cooking settings. If you want to set a totally new cooking setting then touch
the control to enter Program mode. This will clear all setting so you can start from scratch.
Switching into standby when the oven is in use
If you have been using your oven, touching the will not switch the oven into standby. It will first clear
the current cooking settings, which is Program mode. The second time you touch the control the
oven will switch into standby. The clock will still be displayed.

Selecting a cooking mode
Your oven has a combination of 10 different cooking modes. Touch the heating mode display repeatedly
to scroll through all of the modes. Each mode has a preset temperature, which can be adjusted
manually if required.
Upper and lower heating element
The upper and lower heating elements
will switch on and radiate heat evenly
within the oven cavity. Pastry and meat
can be cooked on one shelf only.
Preset temperature 200˚C
Grill (whole element)
With this cooking mode selected the
whole of the grill element will switch
on. The heat radiates from the top of
the oven. This is ideal for cooking meat
such as steaks, chops and ribs across the
whole grill.
Preset temperature 240˚C
Grill (middle element)
With this cooking mode selected just the
middle grill element will switch on. The
heat radiates from the top of the oven.
This is ideal for cooking small amounts
meat such as a single steak or toast.
Place the food in the middle of the
grill pan.
Preset temperature 240˚C

Grill and fan
The full grill element and the fan will
switch on. This is ideal for grilling meat
or poultry on one shelf.
Preset temperature 170˚C
Hot air and lower element
With this cooking mode selected the
lower element and the hot air fan will
switch on. This is ideal for cooking
pizzas, heavy pastry, fruit cakes made
of leavened dough, short pastry and
cheesecakes.
Preset temperature 200˚C
Hot air
With this cooking mode selected just the
hot air fan will switch on. The hot air will
circulate around the cavity evenly. This is
ideal for roasting meat or cooking pastry
on multiple shelves at the same time.
Preset temperature 160˚C
Defrosting
With this cooking mode selected just
the fan will switch on. The fan will blow
air around the cavity to slowly defrost
frozen food. No heating elements will be
switched on

Lower element and fan
With this cooking mode selected
the lower element and the fan will
switch on. This is ideal for baking low
leavened dough and preserving fruit
and vegetables. Use shelf position 1 and
use a shallow baking tray to allow air to
circulate around the food.
Preset temperature 160˚C
Lower element
With this cooking mode selected the
lower element will switch on. This is ideal
for cooking/baking the bottom of dishes
more than the top (moist pastry with
fruit filling).
Preset temperature 160˚C
Upper element
With this cooking mode selected the
top element will switch on. The heat will
radiate from the top of the oven. This is
ideal cooking/baking the top of dishes
more than the bottom (e.g. for
browning food).
Preset temperature 150˚C

4. Touch the temperature display to
confirm the temperature. If you don’t
touch the temperature display the
temperature will be automatically set
after 5 seconds.
When the temperature is reached the
oven will beep and the symbol will
switch off.
Setting the oven temperature
1. Once you have selected a cooking
mode or a pre-set cooking mode
by touching either the Cooking
mode control or one of the pre-set
cooking controls you can change the
temperature.
2. Touch the temperature display. The
+ and - controls with light up and the
temperature display with flash.
3. Touch the + and - controls to adjust
the temperature setting.
The temperature is adjusted 5˚C at a
time.
The maximum temperature is 275˚C and
the minimum is 30˚C.
or wait 5 seconds
When cooking has finished the temperature will continue to be displayed as the oven cools
down. The temperature will be displayed until it reaches 50˚C.
Your oven is fitted with an auto shut off function.
- If the cooking temperature is above 120˚C and the oven hasn’t be touched, it will switch
off after 10 hours.
- If the cooking temperature is below 120˚C and the oven hasn’t be touched, it will switch
off after 24 hours.

Tableware warming
Your oven has a tableware warming setting that will set your oven to 60˚C to warm your tableware.
1. Switch the oven on then touch the
control.
The temperature will be automatically
set to 60˚C although it can be adjusted
between 30-80˚C.
Rapid pre-heating your oven
Your oven has a rapid pre-heat function. Use this function if you need to quickly pre-heat your oven.
The pre-set temperature is 160˚C but this can be adjusted from 40-275˚C.
1. Switch the oven on and touch the
control. The
symbol will light and
160˚C will be displayed.
If you would like to change the
temperature touch the temperature
display and then touch the + / - to adjust
the temperature.
2. Touch the START/STOP control to
start rapid pre-heating your oven.
BEEP
BEEP
BEEP
3. When the oven has heated up to
your desired temperature it will beep.
Touch any control to switch the beep
off. If you don’t touch any control the
beep will switch off after 1 minute.
Now you can set your cooking program.
2. Touch the START/STOP control to
start the table warming setting.

Warming mode
Your oven has a warming setting that will set your oven to 70˚C to warm up a pre-cooked meal or to
keep warm something that you have just cooked e.g. a pizza. The warming mode can also be selected in
some of the pre-set programs.
1. Switch the oven on then touch the
control.
The temperature will be automatically
set to 70˚C although it can be adjusted
between 30-95˚C.
2. START/STOP will flash, touch the
START/STOP control to start the
warming mode, touch START/STOP
again to switch the mode off.
Oven thermostat
The
symbol is the thermostat symbol. This symbol will be lit when the oven is not at the
temperature you have set. When it reaches your set temperature a beep will sound and the light
will switch off. The light will switch on and off as the temperature in the oven fluctuates.
The symbol is displayed when the oven is heating up. Once the oven reaches temperature the
light will switch off and remain off until a new higher temperature is set.
