OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. Connect the power cable to the socket of the transmitter, then insert the cigarette lighter plug of the power cable to the vehicle cigarette lighter
socket. The transmitter's power indicator lights, the ultrasonic emitter starts emitting ultrasonic.
Place the transmitter in the vehicle, make sure that the transmitter is close to the area where you want to detect, meanwhile the ultrasonic emitter
should point to this area approximately.
2. Close the doors and windows.
3. Insert the headphone's plug into the headphone jack of the receiver, then wear the headphone.
Press and hold down one side of the POWER switch, the green light at the LED window indicates that the receiver is power on. You can hear
" ticking tone " through the headphone, adjust the volume to a suitable level.
4. Still press and hold down the side of the POWER switch, move the head of the receiver around the seals in the suspected area.
Once the receiver picks up the ultrasonic emitted by the ultrasonic emitter, the " ticking tone " will increase in frequency and the light at the LED
window will also change colour. It means that the receiver find the leak. The closer the receiver head moves to the leak, the higher the frequency of
the " ticking tone " becomes.
5. After you locate the leak, repair it and then retest with the Ultrasonic Leak Detector.
6. When you finish leak detection, release the POWER switch and remove the power cable's cigarette lighter plug from the cigarette lighter socket.
NOTE
1. Leak location should be performed mainly according to the frequency changes of the " ticking tone ", the colour change of the light at the LED windows
is only an auxiliary indication.
2. To avoid any damage to hearing, don't set headphone volume too high.
3. Don't bump any item of the Ultrasonic Leak Detector.
4. Don't tamper with any circuit of the Ultrasonic Leak Detector.
5. Keep the Ultrasonic Leak Detector clean and dry.

6. Remove the button cells from the receiver if you don't use it in a long time.
7. It is recommended to replace the button cells after the receiver has been used for 10 hours.
To replace the button cells, remove the two screws on the back cover of the receiver, then remove the head, gently move the back cover aside,
replace the old button cells with three new button cells (CR2032 type), make sure that polarity connections are correct (see the marks in the
compartment for the button cells ). Reinstall the back cover, the head and the screws.
8. The transmitter is powered through 12V cigarette lighter socket.
