ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

DOUBLE POLARITY TV ANTENNA
Fasten the mast to the antenna using the
four provided screws
Insert the mast in the Ø 42 hole bored in
the roof, making sure you apply a layer
of silicone under the ring nut. Fasten the
ring nut using self-tapping screws.
(screws not supplied)
Place the rubber gasket over the ring nut
Secure the pipe lead to the roof using
the ring nut and its wedge-shaped spacer.
Caution: the antenna must be in horizontal
position. The wedge-shaped spacer is
used to set the antenna in the horizontal
position even if the roof is inclined.
1
Screw down the mast locking device.
This mast-locking device must be screwed
tight every time you wish to secure the
antenna in the desired position. To turn
or lift the mast, loosen this ring nut.
Tighten the ring nut on to the wedge
spacer by using two 2.9X13 mm self-
tapping screws
Insert the nut in the suitable seat on the
back of the wall outlet
Fit the upper part
of the wall outlet
without tightening
2
Screw the coaxial cable into the antenna
connector
Secure the outlet block to the wall
Turn the 2 VHF dipoles
Place them in the suitable seat and lock
them by means of the four knobs.

CONNECTION TO THE AMPLIFIER
Connect the lead exiting from the pole to the ANT input of the amplifier. Connect, with the
relevant lead, the TV connector of the amplifier with the television. Connect the amplifier to
a 220 V power socket or a battery, making sure you do not invert the + and - terminals (Fig.
16).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Rotate the dB dial of the amplifier clockwise.
2) Tune the television to a channel available in the area where you are located.
3) Rotate and lift the antenna via the suitable pole until you get the best image on the TV.
USEFUL TIPS
Not all the television signals you can receive in the zone where you are located will necessarily
originate from the same direction. So if the quality of a programme image is poor try rotating
the antenna as the signal may be coming from a direction different from the others.
GAIN ADJUSTMENT
With the dB dial turned all the way clockwise amplifier sensitivity will be at maximum and it
is therefore able to receive the weakest signals. If, instead, the signals are very strong there
may be image overlap on the TV screen. In this case rotate the dB dial anticlockwise slowly
until the image is perfect.
With battery power supply this switch
allows to switch off the AT42.
If the amplifier is connected to the 230V
the switch is not active.
Power supply 12 Vcc

When the vehicle is running, always set the
antenna in the position shown in the drawing
and tighten the mast locking device and
the wall outlet
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RECEPTION OF HORIZONTAL
OR VERTICAL POLARITY SIGNALS
In some areas certain TV signals are
transmitted with horizontal polarity while
others are transmitted with vertical polarity
This antenna can be positioned both
horizontally and vertically by simply
turning the knob at the bottom of the
mast.
By turning the knob to the left the antenna
shifts to the HORIZONTAL position, by
turning it to the right the antenna shifts to
the VERTICAL position
