1.0 Introduction
The DLS1621 Series are 1/3” CCD, high resolution 480TVL, Low Light Day/Night Mobile
cameras. Units are designed with advanced DSP technology to provide outstanding quality
images under normal and low light illumination. Configured with various choices of board
lenses, cameras feature built-in IR LEDs and a full complement of image controls, including
AWB, AGC and BLC. Included are Aluminum body, sun shield, anti vibration, shock and water-
proof construction. Powered by 12VDC, the DLS1621 Series are a perfect choice for
demanding commercial and industrial mobile video surveillance installations.

3.0 Adjustment
The camera's performance may be adjusted as needed to meet the installer's particular
requirements via the built-in DIP Switch. This work is to be performed only by Certified
Technicians.
Steps to follow:
1. Unscrew the main camera body from the base assembly. Remove the camera PCB out of the
body.
2. Adjust DIP Switch settings as needed to adjust camera parameters.

Do not disassemble or repair the camera to avoid possible fire, electric shock or other hazard.
Please refer to qualified service technicians for any malfunction. Carefully install the camera.
Do not scratch the camera unit, especially the lens. Avoid Shock, vibration. Do not install
camera on an unstable surface. It can be damaged by improper use or storage. Never point
the camera towards direct sunlight or other bright objects regardless if power is on or off in
order to avoid dim image or smear. Use the camera within given temperature, humidity, and
electricity limit. Turn off camera if the malfunction includes overheating or smoke -please
contact reseller.

5.0 Installation
1. Prepare a space to mount the camera and mark the mounting holes for bracket.
2. Drill the bracket mounting holes (4mm).
3. Use screws (M5X12mm) and spring washers to fix the camera bracket.
4. Adjust the bracket angle and mount the sunshield housing on the bracket.
5. Mount the screws (M4X8mm) in the mounting holes.
6. Connect camera with a 12VDC adapter and the video BNC connector. Power up camera
and a video image will appear on the monitor. Adjust the angle of the camera and tighten
screws to fix the position of the camera.
