Starting / Stopping
> Hold the product stable and pull recoil
starter handle (15) slowly until you feel
a denite resistance and then give it
a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the
engine starts (Fig. 10).
NOTE: If the engine cannot start after
8timesofpulling,ortheenginestalls
quickly, move the choke lever (8) to
the “open” position and repeat this
step until the engine starts.
> When the engine starts, move the
choke lever (8) to the ‘open’ position (Fig. 11).
> Allow the product to run at idle speed for 30 seconds to let it
warm up;
> Oncetheengineisrunningcorrectly,carefullylifttheproductand
securely hold it by its handles.
If engine is warm:
> Ensure the choke lever (8) to the “OPEN” position (Fig. 11).
> Pullrecoilstarterhandle(15)slowlyuntilyoufeeladeniteresistance
andthengiveitabrisk,strongpull.Repeatuntiltheenginestarts
(Fig. 10).
> Oncetheengineisrunning,carefullylifttheproductandsecurely
hold it by its handles.
WARNING! Make sure that the cutting device is not
touching the ground or other objects when starting the
product!
Allow the recoil starter rope to return slowly and controlled
after each pull!
NOTE: If the engine stalls or cuts out when you hold the
throttletriggertoaccelerate,restarttheengineandletthe
engine warm up for 30 seconds or more at idle.
During idle running the cutting device should not move.
Contactaqualiedtechnicianifyoundthatthecutting
device is moving.
