The unit must be mounted with the vacuum
fitting toward the top in a completely vertical
orientation or at an angle no greater than 45º
from vertical. Flow is intended to enter at the
top of the unit (nearest the vacuum port) and
exit the bottom.
A vacuum source (minimum 13.3 kPa abso-
lute) such as the Systec SST pump
(PN: 9000-1584 or 9000-1585) is required.
● 1. Connect a 0.062 inch/1.57MM ID
vacuum tube to vacuum connection.
(See Figure 1).
● 2. Then, connect your inlet fluid line into the
horizontal 1/4-28 port on the debubbler
chamber. (See Figure 2).
● 3. To connect the outlet (degassing tail) to
your system, start by connecting the 1/4-28
adapter. Next, connect the 5/16-24 fitting
and ferrule into the adapter. Hold the tub-
ing so that it does not twist. (See Figure 3).
Maximum Operating Pressure:
200 kPa (30psi) @ 25°C
Efficiency of Removal:
9000-1544—36% dissolved air removed from
water at 1mL/min
9000-1545—55% dissolved air removed from
water at 1mL/min
Compatible with aqueous salts, acids, and
bases without detergents. For other solutions
containing organics contact IDEX H&S.
Important Note: Degassing tail is flexible and
can be maneuvered around components in
order to incorporate into your system. How-
ever, over twisting or bending of the degassing
tail can cause a kink in the tube which can
lead to decreased performance or failure.
