Installation Instructions
Book Rack
1. Position book rack behind chair seat as
shown, hooks aligned with openings between
chair seat and back frame.
2. Push each hook through opening to secure
hooks on frame. Hooks are designed to fit
tightly through openings. Use manual force as
required (Figs. 1, 1A).
3. Swing book rack forward, slightly twisting
front of book rack to allow hooks to clear front
chair legs and rest on chair leg brace (Fig. 2).
4. While deflecting front hooks inward, one at a
time, push down and backward until front hook
tab is behind chair leg (Fig. 2A). Release
inward pressure, allowing hook tab to snap
into place behind chair leg (Fig. 2B).
IMPORTANT! Do not bend hooks. Over-bent
hooks will result in improper restraint of book
rack. Book rack is properly assembled when
front hook tabs are positioned behind chair
legs (Fig. 2B).

Tablet Arm Assembly
1. Before assembling arm to chair, slide clamp
located on lower rod to position shown (Fig. 3).
2. With the tablet arm in position shown, slide
rear bracket onto rear leg of chair first.
Pivot arm down to engage front bracket with
front leg of chair (Fig. 3).
NOTE: A rubber mallet may be used to
completely engage brackets on chair legs.
3. After both brackets are engaged on chair
legs and bottom rod of arm seats onto chair
frame, tap clamp with mallet to secure clamp to
chair frame (Fig. 4).
CAUTION! Failure to properly position and
secure clamp to chair frame may result in
instability of tableboard.
