TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
• Filtercordmustbepluggedintoa3wireoutlet
thatisprotectedbyaClassAGroundFault
Circuit Interrupter.
• Resetcircuitbreaker.Ifcircuitbreakertrips
repeatedly, your electrical system may have a
defect. Turn off circuit breaker and call an
electrician to correct the problem.
• Letmotorcooldown.
• AdjustthechlorineandpHlevel.Consultyour
local swimming pool supply stores.
• Cleanorreplacecartridge.
•
Check the cartridge for holes.
Replace if
damaged.
• Operatethefilterforlongerperiods.
• Cleanthestrainerscreenattheinlet.
• Clearanyobstructionsintheintakehoseby
discharging it inside pool wall.
• Tightenhoseclamps,checkhosesfordamage,
check pool water level.
• Replacecartridge.
• Cleancartridgemoreoften.
• Installthenozzleattheupperpositionofthe
pool inlet, and the strainer at the lower position
of the pool outlet.
• Make sure the pool inlet air adaptor is
connected to the pool inlet upper fitting.
• Fillpooltocorrectwaterlevel.
• Cleanstrainerscreensatpoolinlet.
• Tightenhoseclamps,checkhosefordamage.
• Clearanysticksorleavesintheintakehose.
• Openthereleasevalveattopofpump.
• Removecover&checkforO-ring.
• Tightencoverorvalve(Manually).
• Tightenorreinstallhoseclamps.
• Puttheo-ringbackintothegroove.
• Replaceanewhose.
• Openairreleasevalve,liftandlowertheinlet
hose until water starts to flow out of air release
valve, close air release valve.
• Tighten or reinstall hose clamps.
• Tightenairjetvalveandmakesureit’s
facing up.
• Pluginthepumpandrunforfewseconds,then
unplug, repeat 3 times.
• Removeairjetvalve,flushdirtoutwithwater
and replace valve back.
• Replaceanewairjetvalve.
