Aroslim setup guide

Important safeguards
Follow basic safety precautions, including:
1. This appliance must only be used by or under the supervision of a responsible adult.
2. Don’t place the Aroslim®, cable, or plug in any liquid; don’t use the Aroslim® in a
bathroom, near water, or outdoors.
3. Position the power cord to prevent it from being a tripping hazard.
4. Don’t use the Aroslim® for any purpose other than diffusing of Air Aroma essential
oils and aroma oils.
5. Only use the Aroslim® with the supplied power adaptor. Before connecting the
Aroslim® to a power outlet, check that the voltage label specied on the adaptor is the
same as your power supply.
6. Always switch off and unplug the equipment before moving, cleaning or servicing.
7. Although the Aroslim® can be left switched on even when the oil has been used up,
it is recommended to switch the unit off when the fragrance bottle is empty. Alterna-
tively, an external timer can be used to switch off the Aroslim® automatically.
8. Always keep the Aroslim® in a vertical position if the bottle is in place. The bottle can
run empty through the silencer.
Warning: The Aroslim® should always be used in an upright position.

Congratulations on purchasing your new Air Aroma Aroslim® diffuser. The Aroslim® is
the ideal diffuser for all those environments where exibility of scenting is important.
Its understated appearance and ease of use makes the Aroslim® the ideal scenting
solution for both professional environments and at home.
Instructions
Read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Set up the Aroslim® and
adjust the scenting strength to the environment. The Aroslim® is now ready to diffuse
Air Aroma essential oils and aroma oils.

Unpacking the Aroslim®
1. Lay the Aroslim® packaging box on a at surface and open the lid.
2. Remove the DC power adaptor and the Adaptor plug plates (1), and then remove the
top poly-foam (2) to expose the Aroslim® pole.
3. Carefully lift the Aroslim® out of the box, ensuring to place the Aroslim® top piece (3)
on the top of the pole.
4. Remove the base (4) from the poly-foam and place the Aroslim® upright on the oor.
5. Check the contents of the box when unpacking the Aroslim®. If you detect any
transport damage, please contact your dealer.

Set up of the Aroslim®
1. To insert a 250ml bottle of Air Aroma essential oil or aroma oil, lift the top piece (1) of
the Aroslim®.
2. Screw the bottle (2) into the diffuser. Make sure the thread is correctly aligned (do
not over-tighten).
3. Place the top piece back onto the Aroslim® pole. Make sure the tube (3) does not
get caught in between the top piece and the pole.
4. Click the adaptors plug plates into the DC adaptor then plug the DC cable and make
sure the lead/cord placed in the groove of the rubber pad.
5. The Aroslim® is now ready to use.
Tips for using the Aroslim®
1. Find a location in the room to place the Aroslim®, preferably not near a window or
reverse air duct.
2. Do not place the Aroslim® under or behind any other object, so that the fragrance
can diffuse freely in the room. Do not place any objects on top of the Aroslim®.
3. Do not lie the Aroslim® at with an oil bottle inside the unit. The appliance should
always be in an upright position.
4. If the Aroslim is placed on carpet ooring, you may need to increase the height of the
feet to avoid blocking the air inlet.
Cleaning
1. The Aroslim® is tted with a diffuser, which can get blocked if the unit is not cleaned
regularly or not used for a long time. The diffuser can be cleaned with methylated
spirits or alcohol.
2. Fill an empty 250ml Air Aroma bottle with a little methylated spirits or alcohol and
switch the unit on for about 30 seconds, repeat this 3 times and the atomiser will be
clean.
3. Oil stains or ngerprints on the Aroslim® exterior may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
4. Keep all connectors and sockets dry.
5. Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

Important: Make sure the bottle is screwed in tight and parallel to the top cover.

Function of the Aroslim®
1. The strength of the Aroslim® can be adjusted by pressing the button (1) on the pole.
2. The Aroslim® is in stand-by mode when the red light is on.
3. By pressing the button (1) for 5 seconds the LED will shine brighter. Then you will be
able to change the strength settings. Once you stop pressing button (1), it will then lock
in place after 5 seconds. You will then need to repeat the above to change the settings.
4. If power to the Aroslim® is switched off, the previously used strength setting will be
saved.

Using the Aroslim® Security Lock
The following steps are necessary to change the Aroslim® Security Lock code.
1. Set the code to the current code (by default this is 1111)
2. Insert a pen or pin into the hole at the right side of the Aroslim® Security Lock.
3. Push and hold the pen or pin in the hole to change the code.
4. Change the code. Release the pen or pin and the code is set.
