Installation, initial start-up, inspection,

maintenance and repairs must only be

(heating engine er/installati on contrac-

tor).

Before working on the equipment/

heating system, is olate the power

supply (e.g. by re moving a separ ate

mains fuse or by means of a mains

isolator) and safeguard against

unauthoris ed reconnection .

When using gas as fuel, also close

the main gas shut-off valve and safe-

guard against unauthorised reopen-

ing.

Repairing components which fulfil a

safety function can compromise the

safe operation of yo ur heating sys-

tem.

For replacements, use only original

spare parts supplied or approved by

Viessmann.

Opening the Vitodens and removing the burner

Installation and service instruc-

1. Und o two screws and remove fan

A with gas valve B and venturi

nozzle C.

2. Und o two screws and remove gas

valve B together with venturi noz-

zle from fan A.

3. Fit new fan A with new gasket C

to gas valve B.

Fixing screw torque: 3 Nm.

4. Fit new fan A with gas valve B

and new gaske t D to burner.

Fixing screw torque: 4 Nm.

5. In stall the burner.

Note

Insert new gaskets on all gas con-

nections.

6. S tart up the b oiler and c heck for

tightness.
