512Byteand4Krefertotheamountofdatastorableonaminimalunit

ofaharddiskdrive(persector).Ifyouwishtoremovetheinternaldrive

(containingdata)fromyourcomputertobeusedasanexternalone

viaEZ0330,the512Byte/sectorformatoftraditionalcomputersis

recommended.Switchingto4Ksectorwillrequirethedisktobe

formattedanderasealldatacontained.However,ifyouareusinga4k

sectororbrandnewharddrive,werecommendyoukeeptheoriginal

4ksectorformat.



SelectStartlocatedonbottomleftcorner,followedbyAccessories‐>

SystemTools‐>SystemInformation.



2. Insertthe2.5inchor3.5inchharddriveintoharddriveslot(c)

3. ConnecteachendoftheUSBcabletotheUSBconnector(f)and

computerUSBhost

4. Pressthepowerbutton(a),andthepowerindicator(b)willlightup

toshowthatharddriveisinoperation

5. Right‐clickontheComputericononthedesktop,thenselect

Manage‐>DeviceManager‐>Diskdrives.If“ezDISKEZ0330USB

Device”appears,installationiscomplete.


