TOA RS-160 is a Security Substation designed to be used with TOA's VS-900 Voice Security System. It features a 4 cm dynamic speaker with an 82 dB output sound pressure level and a frequency response of 300 to 4,000 Hz. The RS-160 also has a built-in microphone with a sensitivity of -40 dB ± 3 dB.

The RS-160 can be used to call the control station by pressing the call button. The call lamp will then flash until the conversation begins, and it will remain lit during the conversation. The open collector output is activated immediately after pushing the call button and remains active until the call is canceled. The open collector output is 24 VDC, 30 mA.

3. OPERATION
Pressing the call button calls the control station. The call lamp then flashes until the conversation begins, and
it remains lit during the conversation (RS-180 only). The open collector output is activated immediately after
pushing call buttons and remains active until call is cancelled (RS-180 only).
Note: RS-180 open collector output is 30 mA / 24 VDC (max.).
