JFET input transistors
Most are wired with original Siltec input and output cables
H chassis design
Changed from 4 heatsinks per side to 5 midway through production life cycle
Up-gradable to Mk3 (if long chassis with 5 heatsinks per side)
Single Transformer
Identified as Mk2 by checking for a single power transformer and six countersunk screws
on rear panel
Mk3
April 1998 through October 2001
Serial numbers 8299 through 0836
Same circuit board set as Mk2
All wired in generation three (G3) Siltec input and output cables
Ground lift switch fitted to Mk3 midway through production life cycle
Two transformers (paralleled - not configured as dual mono)
Identified as Mk3 by checking for twin power transformers or Mk3 designation on rear
panel
NOTE: The SA102 is a new product, and no SA100 can be upgraded to SA102
specification.
